Yep, been removed. No explanation or anything. I hadn't left it, so tried to get on when I got home to see what was happening, but just not there any more. It's a shame it all went tits up, but it was infuriating! Well, to me anyway. I avoided for ages, as it used to wind me up, but some of it was good, and it was nice to see some of the ff discussions (which was all i really looked at at the end, the rest was too inane even for me!). But recently it was way too intense and nasty at times. Somebody this morning had said it had got a bit toxic, and I think that was spot on. I mean, it's a TV program, at the end of the day, and it should be a bit of fun, and a laugh, shouldn't it? What does anyone else who was on it think?
The goat thing, i think, based on the goat smurf shot in ep 4 before it all went pear shaped.

cjwoofwoof · 03/03/2015 13:09

Oh dear, bye-bye OGA. Don't do FB so have no idea who or what they were anyway. Back to more important things like BA appearing in pixies Marlowe play. Now THAT I'd go and see AND I'd pay the extra £1 for the theatre binoculars.

Nickel have I taught you nothing? Never mind Poldarks storyline and scenery, the most important research is to see which side of those very tight breeches he dresses on, and how well does he fill a frilly billowing shirt (shaking of head and tutting) Wink

Nickel45 · 03/03/2015 13:16

Oh cjwoof, I thought that went without saying!!!
Was idly googling bluestone for operation bulge purposes, and found this of the captain (obv not the same calibre as our captain, but maybe will fill a gap till the real one returns) ... No euphemism intended!!!

Crikey, can't believe the OGA implosion! nickel what do you mean they slagged us off? Glad we don't have big egos squashing others on here - we're just all incredibly fantastic!

Poldark - I wish I could get all steamed up about Aidan Turner. I've tried really, really hard but I'm sorry that Radio Times cover just emphasises his weaseliness. Isn't it odd that one set of features can make your pulse rate rocket, yet another leave you stone cold.

onlygirl I can't wait. I imagine after a long journey he'll be quite peckish tomorrow, so my tea room role play will be just the ticket. Am stocking up on cream and jam (decided to go with seeded raspberry - finding the pips might be fun).Grin

Nickel45 · 03/03/2015 13:19

And maybe some more reminders of why we are here .... :)
(Hope you don't mind me reporting one of your pics cherin)

littlest is snoring away on the couch, thought I'd watch EP2, been ages since I watched a full episode and I cant find the DVD- might gonna have to ring hubby as he threatened to hide it a while ago.........

Nickel45 · 03/03/2015 13:21

orphan I think they thought we didn't take things seriously enough! Don't know where they got that idea from!!

Nickel45 · 03/03/2015 13:22

Oops, reposting cherin not reporting (flipping spell check again!).

icemistOBE · 03/03/2015 13:23

nice pics nickel

disaster averted, hubby had put it in a safe place. phew...

OP posts:
orphan · 03/03/2015 13:23

Not take it seriously?! I couldn't take it more seriously!

orphan · 03/03/2015 13:27

Spending ages sourcing the correct swivel chair, raspberry jam, clotted cream etc for CJ's stay- is that not proof of taking it seriously?Shock

icemistOBE · 03/03/2015 13:29

off course we take it seriously! and we share too Wink we just accepted weeks ago that there's very good chance there won't be another series.

I do love EP2...

not forgetting our exclusive product line that we are launching with the aid of dragon's den Grin

cjwoofwoof · 03/03/2015 13:33

Phew! Thanks for getting that straight Nickel thought you were slacking there for a minute.

orphan you're really getting my goat (gettit?) about poor Aidan's weaseliness. That scarface is totes gorge (look at me down with the kids) and chiselly enough to be classed as pretty darned rugged in my book but then again I'm lusting after any male under 40 these days Just coz CJs on his way to you next don't you go getting all picky and discerning about other hot totty Shock

orphan · 03/03/2015 14:05

cjwoof thought you'd be pleased I'm spurning him - look what happened when I turned The Sausage away!Grin
Maybe it's the memory of him in The Hobbit as a dwarf pining after the lady elf who was twice his height. Watch me eat my words though once Poldark airs and I've succumbed to the breeches and frilly shirts.

icemist ep 2 is def the best. Could only be bettered if the restaurant scene could be spliced in.

icemistOBE · 03/03/2015 14:07

Now this would be dedication

orphan · 03/03/2015 14:11

Ooh that's pretty. Is it a transfer? The colours look too nice for a real tattoo. (Is it you icemist and do you have any more to show us?!)

orphan · 03/03/2015 14:13

Just remembered our lingerie range and the CJ hands bra. So excited that soon I'll have the real hands warming my icebergs.

cjwoofwoof · 03/03/2015 14:14

True orphan, I'm always around to lap up any of your castoffs. If that's the case then it must mean CJs coming back to me soon and I get AT all to myself. Eek! Hope they don't arrive at Woof Manor both together, I might accidentally lose all my clothes in the ensuing mayhem Grin

icemistOBE · 03/03/2015 14:15

Not me, not sure if it's real it popped up via another website on my Twitter feed
My tattoo is a tiny pink dumbo elephant

OP posts:
orphan · 03/03/2015 14:49

icemist you sure Dumbo wouldn't like a little stag to keep him company?Grin

cjwoof you've reminded me that I need to let Rupert know he's needed tomorrow so we can try some synchronised swiveling. Hope he gets on with CJ... After seeing in Homeland what Rupert can do to those he takes offence to, it could get nasty.

cjwoofwoof · 03/03/2015 14:57

I can give Rupert your message orphan dont worry

orphan · 03/03/2015 15:19

Oi! Keep your hands off Rupert cjwoof! I need him fully functioning. My patented kangaroo hop requires bulge nerves and muscles of steel from all participants and signing of a damage waiver.

cjwoofwoof · 03/03/2015 15:54

Well you forced my hand orphan after calling the lovely Aidan a weasel. Now Rupert is extremely comfortable in my boudoir I'm not sure I'm ready to release him over to you just yet. Besides, he's absolutely exhausted poor lamb after bingeing on an extra large fondant fancy. The mucky pup had to take off all his clothes to get rid of all the crumbs

Ilovelblue · 03/03/2015 16:22

Gosh ladies, been incommunicado since 9am and look what happens! Has the OGA group really self-combusted? They did sound a pretty mad lot. Do you think any of them currently lurk on here?

I'll be honest that I would definitely still like a second series but that it would have to have CJ in it somewhere to hold my attention. The ff is keeping me going quite well in the meantime. Failing a further series of OG, I could cope quite well to see BA in something else, so long as it's an improvement on Reign. I agree with Pixie and Nickel that given the actors' commitments elsewhere, it could well take ages to set up and as we know, TG hadn't settled on a new storyline or been in talks with the BBC at the time the last series ended.

In the "extras" bit on the DVD, one of the people talking - producer or director, can't recall now - said Lacey was a superb actress and although he paraphrased it, I am sure he meant "deserves something better than soapdom". Well, OG definitely did that for her.
