As someone else said, the last one was a wasted opportunity.

I would like to give tickets to:

Simon
Chesney & girlfriend
Faye
All the Windasses
Tracey-Luv
Michelle
Sawphie
Owen
Kal and all his family

Plenty more seats available, feel free to add some more passengers!

It's all quite vague, really, Todd's motivation. Ah well, I like Eva now, as she disappears into the sunset.

Southeastdweller · 23/02/2015 21:03

On the subject of Antony Cotton, I read on that he may have made the life hell for the actor who played Marcus, forcing the actor to quit.

Clawdy · 23/02/2015 21:07

That old cliche of the villain picking up the unsuspecting one's phone.....Hmm

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/02/2015 21:18

Chipstick - I read that too - it was Kelly who worked in the factory.

CharityD · 23/02/2015 21:31

How 'fortunate' that Todd picked up Jason's phone.
If Jason checks his phone he will see that Eva called while they were in that bar...
Very clunky storyline. I just think Todd is more and more like a panto villain, I can't take him seriously at all.

theliverpoolone · 23/02/2015 22:01

I wonder if the house Tony bought at the auction will ever be mentioned again Hmm

Chipstick10 · 23/02/2015 22:25

Yes Anne you are right it was KElly. And Southeast I read also re Marcus. I also read an old interview with Carol McGiffin and she was asked who is the worst person you have interviewed and she said Anthony Cotton . Think he is an ego out of control . I can't stand him. He cannot act for toffee and am stumped as to what the producers see in him

eddiemairswife · 23/02/2015 22:45

Someone who was on I'm A Celebrity with him has also said he was unpleasant.

Clawdy · 23/02/2015 22:49

Think John Thompson said he was very difficult to work with, too. Ee, I bet his ears are burning tonight!Grin

AnneEyhtMeyer · 23/02/2015 22:51

He's a crap actor too. His entire range is one exaggerated facial expression like this Shock.

OP posts:
salthill · 24/02/2015 00:03

He was horrible when he was on I'm a Celebrity.

ProfYaffle · 24/02/2015 06:44

I was most disappointed that Todd didn't twirl an imaginary moustache when he was looking over Eileen's shoulder in the final scene last night ....

KenDoddsDadsDog · 24/02/2015 08:00

And why would Eva go to France when she could have gone to her mam in New York ?

CharityD · 24/02/2015 08:16

I was most disappointed that Todd didn't twirl an imaginary moustache when he was looking over Eileen's shoulder in the final scene last night ....

Grin They have made his character so ridiculous, he doesn't even annoy me anymore.
Ellenora5 · 24/02/2015 09:35

I wonder will Eva come back, I quite like her, I would have thought that Jason would have realised his loving brother had it in for him.

I said it before but really come on now, Chesney needs to go, he is a ridiculous character, the way he bounced off Lloyd when he saw Steve driving the car, and what is up with Lloyd and his reaction to Steves depression, I felt so sorry for him when he was sitting on the stairs listening to him giving out.

I can't wait to see the fall out with Liz and Tracey, that should be good for a bit of hair pulling and face slapping Grin

salthill · 24/02/2015 11:09

I agree about Chesney, ridiculous pointless character. Another who seems to use the same facial expression for all situations.

CharityD · 24/02/2015 11:53

Agree Ellenora, I really like Eva, hopefully she will be back. I think she and Jase suited one another too, so hopefully, they might yet have their happy ever after, once her maternity leave is over.

I was thinking the same about Tracy and Liz. That will be some cat fight when it happens. I thought Liz and Tony were a good couple, but he couldn't have picked anyone worse to play away with, from Liz's point of view.

I was glad we had a break from Chesney, but there he was again last night. Useless.
I know I'm repeating myself, but I can't abide Andrea. I'm not even sure exactly why. My teeth are on edge as soon as she appears on screen.

CharityD · 24/02/2015 11:54

Or should that be my nerves are on edge. Something anyway. Grin

millimat · 24/02/2015 12:28

I see that Grantley (Steve's therapist) 's wife (from waterloo road) is joining Corrie as a friend for Roy.

LineRunner · 24/02/2015 12:34

Andrea comes across as though she's over-acting in the school play.

The Gurning Chesney is terrible. He's developed a whining tone to his voice which seems to be permanent.

Pyjamaramadrama · 24/02/2015 15:51

Totally agree loved Eva she'd turned out really nice, liked her and Jason together. Hate Todd now for doing that. On digital spy it said it was because Todd was jealous of their relationship.

Has Lloyd had a personality transplant? I'm sure that he used to be a good friend.

Agree about Chesney, waste of space hate him and Sinead after they were horrible to Roy and Steve.

Camolips · 24/02/2015 17:48

Haven't seen Monday's yet and don't feel bothered to watch now! I agree the only exciting thing to look forward to is Liz going after Tracey.

mytartanscarf · 24/02/2015 18:53

Corrie is dire at the moment.

Faye's pregnancy is dreadful. The 'very young girl getting pregnant' has been done before but most pertinently I just don't think the girl who plays faye has the maturity as an actress to deal with it.
If you compare Tina O'Brien finding out to Faye's 'no! No!' - stupid.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 24/02/2015 19:13

Agree with everybody about Andrea and Chesney.

Faye is awful. No acting ability at all and a dislikeable character. They've given her a huge storyline and she just isn't up to it, and it is a crap storyline anyway.

OP posts:
mytartanscarf · 24/02/2015 19:17

If - IF - they were going to do a pregnancy story with Faye it needed proper buildup and back story.

I can see that a girl like Faye with a disrupted childhood and unstable home life might turn to someone for sex and comfort and security but no girls nowadays have sex without knowing there's a tiny chance of pregnancy. The whole 'I can't be! I didn't realise!' might have worked in the 1970s but not now!
