As someone else said, the last one was a wasted opportunity.

I would like to give tickets to:

Simon
Chesney & girlfriend
Faye
All the Windasses
Tracey-Luv
Michelle
Sawphie
Owen
Kal and all his family

Plenty more seats available, feel free to add some more passengers!

OP posts:

I thought Steve and Michelle were quite touching. Emily's friends were very funny about Norris.

GetHappy · 30/03/2015 00:20

Bethany has a great memory for remembering Todd!!!

CharityD · 30/03/2015 07:34

I laugh when Todd and Nick have scenes together. They seem to barely know one another. I think of all those years ago when Todd went to kiss Nick. They both looked a similar age, there or thereabouts at the time.
Now Nick looks way older than Todd, IMO. I guess it was the brain injury Wink that aged Nick.

CharityD · 30/03/2015 07:55

Four years age difference, looks more like ten years, to me. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 30/03/2015 09:42

OOh Martin Platt (Sean Wilson) is on The Wright Stuff. Grin

millimat · 30/03/2015 09:43

Making cheese?

Sparklingbrook · 30/03/2015 09:52

Nooo. He's on the panel. Grin I may have misheard but he said he left CS because he was to be involved in a storyline having a relationship with a 14 year old girl and he didn't agree with it.

millimat · 30/03/2015 09:54

I don't blame him then. Interesting

millimat · 30/03/2015 09:54

They're never going to invite him back then are they?

Sparklingbrook · 30/03/2015 09:56

Wouldn't have thought so millimat but I think the viewers would love it. Especially with everything going on with Gail and the kids now.

I don't think they killed Martin off.

Housemum · 30/03/2015 11:25

They need more of the humour - the little snippy comments at Norris from Emily's friends were good.

Jenny looks as if she was frozen in time in the 90's, like she's been cut-and-pasted into the show
Glad that Faye found out late about the pregnancy, will be over-and-done soon (and the baby will disappear like Lily/Hope due to working time restrictions for kids...)

ProfYaffle · 30/03/2015 13:15

I think Martin went to live in Liverpool. A whole 40 minutes on the train away yet he disappeared from the kids lives forever.

eddiemairswife · 30/03/2015 13:41

Did Martin go to live with an Irish nurse? David used to go and visit him.

ProfYaffle · 30/03/2015 13:51

I think you're right Eddie. At first David used to flounce off to Martin's house every time he was pissed off with Gail.

Southeastdweller · 30/03/2015 14:35

The Irish nurse (Carmen?) was years before he had an affair with the schoolgirl, iirc.

CharityD · 30/03/2015 15:30

Carmel Smile.
He had an affair in later years with another nurse in later times, but I think she went abroad somewhere.

Just watching bits of last night. I got one slight laugh out of it. When Steve and Lloyd arrived at the Rovers, and the chanting 'Sally, Sally, can be heard. Steve says 'what's this, an auction or a human sacrifice'.

Amazed that both Todd and Jason recognised Bethany with all that make-up on seeing as they hadn't seen her for years! And Sarah-Lou doesn't look any older. They definitely look more like sisters than mother and daughter.
The scriptwriters know that we go on about elastic houses and are playing with us! Audrey has a convenient 'boiler problem'? Sure Grin

CharityD · 31/03/2015 11:46

Todd heard Nick calling her when he (Todd) was standing, for no apparent reason, on the street.

I liked when Sally wiped up the drink for Norris using his scarf. I think the few good characters Sally, Tim, Craig and a handful of others are carrying the show at this stage.

Gail standing talking at Gavin's grave was ridiculous stuff. Putting flowers there, maybe, but the rest was dragged out nonsense. And of course we can guess someone will spot the grave, and tell Michael. Hopefully he will be written off, I mean out then.

theliverpoolone · 31/03/2015 11:59

Sarah didn't meet or even mention Lily.....Hmm. Wonder if Lily's meant to share a room with Max, or David? (who was getting turned out of his last night for Sarah/Bethany). No mention of disruption to them. At this rate David'll be losing custody of both kids......

Housemum · 31/03/2015 12:09

That's why David bought Lily a dolls' house, she sleeps in it...

eddiemairswife · 31/03/2015 13:18

Not only does she live in it, it's probably in the garden and she sustains herself by pinching the new-laid eggs from next door.

desperatehousewife21 · 31/03/2015 17:25

Davids comment about Gails wilted flowers being like her previous husband's made me laugh Grin

hildasmuriel · 01/04/2015 09:02

I like the squabbling Platts. David and Sarah have reverted to type just as most adults do at their parents.

Springtulip · 01/04/2015 11:20

I like the squabbling Platts too.Sone of the best comedy comes from that family, David especially. The wilted flowers one made me laugh too.
Not looking forward to Faye giving birth. Why have they got someone who can't act to do such a big scene. Going to be tedious.
