Started late. Watched it. Then watched it again. Paused rather a few times on the cornfield bit.

Am in a state of Burkerisaton and cannot really process much.

A few notes:

1. I want a black musketeer cape that you can swish the front of into a scarf. Tom looks good in black. And in that shirt.

2. just love the 'untie me damn you' shouty bit. And the way they all jump. Marvellous.

3. loved the hiding in other bedroom bit.

4. nice echo of Knight v Queen with Aramis liking the countryside.

5. that Catherine can FTFO. Big time.

6. the dungeon was great. Loved the secret access behind the dresser.

7. brother Thomas looked alright didn't he?

8. the Athos laugh bit was wonderful.

9. I liked the bit where Dog kicks the barricade down to wade into the fight.

10. Aramis blowing gently on the musket fuse is always a thing of beauty.

11. when Athos says 'Ann' to Milady it's the first time we've heard her real name.

12. the chateau is a bit of a write off now eh. Fuck it, I'll just stay in Athos's Paris lodgings.

13. the bit where Athos gets strung up in the village to be whipped will hopefully feature in a dream v soon.
