And right at the beginning of the fight scene, Aramis did that blowing on his weapon (fnarr) thing again. I may just have paused the recording at exactly that bit

mad it's exactly the same explanation she gave Dog in season one, so she probably has been less scheming that portrayed, over that at least.

I fear that Catherine (boo hiss, nasty piece of work, very Lady V Hervey inner sense of entitlement) will go after Milady and shoot her, leaving her to die in Arhos's arms as he was too late to save her. Just you wait and see....

Those first few minutes really were made with Tean Athos in mind weren't they?

Enjoyed that. One of the best of this season.
Helped that DP slept through it so I didn't have to put up with snarky comments. Yes, I know it's not historically accurate. But it's got hit men running around in leather and floppy shirts!

very western I thought too smut. Trev is having a good s2 from the fan point of view, not so much personally

I think fans of all of them will be pretty happy - everyone seemed to be beautifully shot in this ep & there was more swagger all round.

It was. I was in a bit of a tizz trying to tilt head to work out what was where. But I had DS1 right next to me, so was trying to be subtle

I'd have just PAUSED if it had been Aramis. DS1 knows the score.
