Thanks!!

runlikeagirl · 29/01/2015 09:54

Bea says she stays at home alone.

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 29/01/2015 09:54

Thank you Susiedaisy.

At least her friends love her very much.

Vagndidit · 29/01/2015 09:55

FFS, guilting the poor girl. Parents haven't a clue.

runlikeagirl · 29/01/2015 09:55

Parents don't look that emotionally moved.

susiedaisy · 29/01/2015 09:55

I think the parents are manipulating the daughter to be honest don't think they ever had any intention of going.

I look forward to the update...

Davros · 29/01/2015 09:55

Poor girlSad

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 29/01/2015 09:56

I feel so sorry for Bea.

I can't work out why the family organize their lives the way they do.
Ironic that the estate agent commented that their house needs some decorative work doing Confused

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 29/01/2015 09:56

When are the parents seeing friends and family? They don't even see the child they share a house with.

thehumanjam · 29/01/2015 09:56

The sister said that Nerys is always right. I think that's the impression we got too!

susiedaisy · 29/01/2015 09:57

The mums not budging is she

It's scary how grown up this girl is

susiedaisy · 29/01/2015 09:57

Dreaming, good point.

"I really love Australia" he said. With no passion in his voice whatsoever!

susiedaisy · 29/01/2015 09:58

The dad said the mum keeps on and on until she gets her way at the start of the program so I'm guessing they're still in the UK.

OP posts:
thehumanjam · 29/01/2015 10:00

The Dad said he thought Australia would provide a fresh start. I suspect their relationship is not all roses in Wales.

theconstantvacuumer · 29/01/2015 10:00

Just looked at the online update: surprise surprise, they didn't move. Nerys got her own way.

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 29/01/2015 10:00

FB update as expected.

ClaimedByMe · 29/01/2015 10:00

I have read the update, the mother is just selfish and there is no mention of the dad, that is one of the saddest episodes I have watched with the lack of emotion and the desperation from Bea that she just wants to spend some time with her parents :(

Mulberrystreet · 29/01/2015 10:01

What an odd one!

Batmam · 29/01/2015 10:01

Found you! Watching on catch up...

Cherrypie32 · 29/01/2015 10:02

Nerys said no so that was that (she was right though) she clearly thinks nothing needs to change in their lives. I felt very sorry for Bee.

theconstantvacuumer · 29/01/2015 10:02

From the website:

The Ireland family have decided to stay put in the UK. After their trial week, Nerys, in particular, felt career opportunities down under weren't enough to justify making the move.

Bea's happy her parents gave Australia a chance and is happy to stay in the UK for the moment. Nerys is still working the same hours, but is satisfied life wouldn't be any better in Australia.

susiedaisy · 29/01/2015 10:03

Yep still in the UK. Quite an unsettling episode I thought, lonely daughter selfish mum and fed up dad.
