I'm not sure what ClaireGwen is up to, but they've written her to like kinky sex which in telly land means she's a bad un.

Last night's highlight for me was DH's genuine confusion over whether subtitles were for the hearing impaired or vision impaired (he may have had a couple of beers). Also sweaty Lee hammering in fence posts.

Claire dun sandbrook.
Lee took the rap cos it's a controlling abusive relationship with Claire doing the controlling and abusing. Hence her smashing up the house when she stops getting her own way with Dt.
Lee comes back cos he thinks she will be pleased with him for taking the rap, but she likes her free house so pretends she can't help herself keep shagging him.
She initiated the wall sex To keep lee in line.
Mrs Dt said she loved Dt for covering for her re the pendant. She will now spot something on the wall of doom, solve sandbrook and restore Dt's good name.
OC falling for Dt but he still just loves his wife.
I want a spin off series about fencing And how to knock large fence posts in.

A couple of weeks back, there was a quick scene of the after sex with Claire and lee. She didn't actually look too happy. bored even.

Hopefully lee 'whack my fencepost' will realise she is using sex to keep him in line, and run off with OC.

Why did Ellie make it so obvious she'd clocked the pendant in the photo when Claire was doing her hair?

She's a trained detective, ffs, shouldn't she have just carried on turning the pages as if nothing was wrong? She would have known that Claire would notice her reaction to the photo and would get rid of it.

Loved her shouty bit with Tom in the courtroom though.

I'm convinced that some TV dramas are written by youngish men who don't have children, but in order to make their works seem realistic have female characters who have small children. Hence the lack of understanding that children need to be looked after and fed.

It would seem that Fred's role in the series was purely to give Joe screentime as he was a sahp. Now Joe is banged up poor Fred is no longer a useful character.

Agree with whoever it was who said that DT is at his least fanciable in this series. It's mainly the neckbeard. Eww.

Had a nasty thought about series 3 - it's all going to be about whether defence QC's son was properly convicted. If they really jump the shark, it will be run in conjunction with Joe's appeal and the trial of whoever gets charged with Sandbrook. And Fred plus Ellie's baby will quietly moulder away in a corner being ignored by everyone.

The Telegraph echoes many of our theories here , but they appear to have overlooked the significance of fencing (and erection thereof - snigger!)

OC needed a better no-reaction face when she saw the pic of Claire wearing the pendant.

She should also have tried to nick it; it could be crucial evidence but now she's screwed it up.

I loved the scene where she finally read her son the riot act though. And he is a nasty secretive piece of work, IMO –I'm sure he knows something significant.

Disappointed again by last night's episode, especially as I thought it'd picked up in the last couple of weeks. Defence barrister's assistant shagging Ollie was ridiculous. Surely OC's sister, Lucy, would dob her in?! Marianne Jean Baptiste is beyond awful in this IMO - can't tell if it's her or the writing, but either way, she's dire, and I say that as someone who enjoyed Secrets and Lies. I do not want BC dragged out to a 3rd series - writers take note, Fawlty Towers ran to a mere 12 perfect episodes . Best bit of this are Lee's fence bashing.... Oh, and, no question, Joe killed Danny, didn't he. Finally, I think older Sandbrook cousin is referring to Gillespie mum as the person she hates, not Pippa.

Perhaps we could persuade them to commission a third series that's just about Lee putting up fences in hot weather.

Claire was daft to just take the pendant in the first place though. Anyone with sense would have taken the whole bag to make it look more like a standard theft from a car.
