Can I just say the REAL Cheshire housewives are lovely down to earth kind and considerate, but don't make shock tv.
My mum and all my female relatives were like this. No money, lots of love.

These people exist and the programme is typical of them not some sort of edited stereotype set up.
We grew up with the working class mums referring to this type as all fur coat and no Knickers. The horrible despiseable because they have no class and look down on others.
A lot of my childhood was spent with them being snotty to me because their dc were so much better.
They really are transparent and dull.

What sort of horrid dinner party was that? Those waiters! All that pink champagne! That ghastly yellow dress! And the behaviour. My God, the behaviour.

I've watched quite a few of the RH franchises and I've never seen one so forced and bizarre as this one. Even the sociopath on the first couple seasons of New Jersey came off better than some of these freaks.

I know someone (deliberately being vague here) who watched it being filmed and said it took forever to do one scene, it's so set up.

Yes, we noticed that - some of the guests at the dinner party arrived in broad daylight, and others at night.

I watched the first 2 episodes back to back last night. Absolute car crash TV. Hilariously wooden, set-up and scripted. Favourite quotes 'I'm not thick, I've got Sky News' and 'Of course Cheshire is posh, nobody would choose to live in Bolton' - to which my DP (pretending to read a book) said 'That's true!' (He's from Wigan btw).

I've watched every rhw from across the pond ....apart from Miami....

But it doesn't get much more staged than that dinner party....
