Oh damn! I meant to watch this. I live in Cheshire so thought it would be a giggle. Also just before Christmas our company had a lunch at a nice restaurant nearby and the owner was very proudly telling us that their restaurant will feature in one of the episodes.

I am so excited about this! I love the whole RH franchise and was addicted to New York at one time. I also loved Beverly Hills - but it got too hard to keep up with the American franchises because they're aired so behind over here and it's no longer as easy to watch shows illegally online.

People bitching that they're vulgar or whatever are missing the point.

My husband and I watched this last night and totally enjoyed it. I think the fun is in thinking "I would totally better with their money."

I want to know: did that woman actually buy four tickets to the ball or did she not? Because the woman hosting said that she asked for free tickets and she said that she'd bought four, then was contacted and asked if she wanted any and thought maybe they meant they'd like to give her some more.

I don't know all their names, yet. But I am looking forward to next week.

Fabulassie That issue with the tickets tells you how stupid they all are.

Either they're thick or someone is keen to create drama - how hard is it to say "Well, I already bought four tickets, which I thought you knew, so when you called and asked if I'd like some I thought maybe you had extras to give away." Or maybe she's lying about having already bought tickets.

There were empty seats at the table, yet plates of food were sat there. All very odd.

Of course these things are manipulated/manufactured - I know that on some of the franchises the women actually do know one another (particularly New Jersey) but these women seem artificially thrown together.

Leanne and Dawn and Tanya definitely know each other. Don't know about the others although I would think there are probably links with schools, cricket clubs etc and they're often at the same events.

I thought she meant she had four places on another table, but gave them to friends, and then hoped Dawn would give her another two. But the editing was fairly choppy so I actually have no idea!

Hale Barns is hardly a village. More like a south Manchester suburb with lots of large and expensive houses. Having worked in the centre of Hale (next to Hale Barns) I can tell you that even if I had the money I wouldn't want to live there, although lots of people do.

Watched 5 minutes and turned it off - thought it was very weak.

was a bit cheap. pity they started off the programme calling Magali a cow and already setting a bad tone for the viewer's opinion. Magali doesn't seem as fake as some of the others.

Tbf Dawn Ward's worked very hard - when they were first married she used to work in a care home or similar. I should think a lot of their money now comes from her work (although his job/social circle probably didn't hurt!).

Yes she obviously has a fantastic business and they are one of the few ex footballer pairs that have grown their money. They weren't anywhere near as well paid in Ashley Ward's day .

One still is , another still plays , Ashley Ward was good in his day . Not sure about the Dutch guy but seems he was quite famous.
