Morning. Ann off into town to buy a new tablecloth / oilcloth thing for the kitchen this morning. Then I'm booked in to help the old lady over the road set up Skype so she can talk to her grandkids. The excitement never stops round here.

Don't worry mrsbeee I'll pick up the slack, it's almost sunny here & I have loads of washing to do. So a fun day at home it is - washing, ironing, Ocado due & a start to be made on decluttering the garage & spare room - I need to get back into ebaying & freecycling.

I agree (obvs ) that Tom looked FAFFER than a FAF thing at FAF camp in Paris, but I can't help thinking he hit upon that look by accident, and will now wear it to death, whereupon it will go in the drawer with the blue cardi and the spotty shirt with the nudie jeans t-shirt stitched inside.

Home, lovely new tablecloth is a go. DC will not be allowed to eat on it tonight, they can eat off the floor (they may as well ref manners).

Right off to do a quick tidy up and am shamed into putting some washing on before I go see neighbour.

Dr says just a cold (well duh... I knew that!) and not as thourugh as last visit - didn't even weigh me , and I need to phone in for a sick note next week if I need one. On the plus side DM has told me to come up the road for lunch, so that's a big plate-full of comfort-eating coming my way
