Mark was getting divorced from James mum. Just like the 2009 boy's parents. What if Mark arranged for James to be snatched so his mother couldn't take him. And it all went wrong. When he said that bit about most child abductions are by the parents, it seemed very forceful.

Medal reference was a few episodes ago. I thought it was really good tonight. What will we do when it's over?!

Why was the music at the end different to usual?

Did anyone on this thread not turn the TV off in time and see the trailer for next week or was it just me who got accidentally duped into seeing that?!

I did think a few times this evening that Alain was acting suspicioulsy. I wondered whether I was more aware of him because the discussion about him on this thread but maybe not given the ending.

Mark knew that Ziane was going to talk.

I do think the Mayor is involved, he's the powerful one who can get someone killed. I'm worried about Baptiste.

I think the coin is a red herring. I think that somehow Greg has something to do with it. He's Ollies father and collaborated with a local gang to get him back. Remember, we still need to tie in the gang and Baptistes daughter.

When Baptiste laid to the mayor... He's almost too much of a distraction to the storyline.

I imagine AF is right. She can always smell a rat.
