OP posts:
TillHammerZeit · 30/11/2014 21:50

No sleep for me tonight,or for the next decade I suspect.

TillHammerZeit · 30/11/2014 21:52

I knew he was older than he said. He had to be judging by the pics.

HaveToWearHeels · 30/11/2014 21:52

will never look at egg and chips the same !

MargotThreadbetter · 30/11/2014 21:52

I'm watching it alone Bee! Just got my 2 year old asleep next door.
Not finding it as scary as last week, but I'm sure they'll ramp it up towards the end!

GloriousGloria · 30/11/2014 21:53

Ooh all your age theories were right weren't they.

Gozogozo · 30/11/2014 21:58

Anyone know where it was filmed?

OwlCapone · 30/11/2014 22:00

I didn't find it as scary as last week it it's very good.

Ujjayi · 30/11/2014 22:00

It wasn't as scary as last week. But the final scenes made me shudder.

BeeOrchid · 30/11/2014 22:01

You foolish woman Margot. You're going to be awake all night, with the lights on.
I just tried watching a bit, scared myself half to death and the soles of my feet went icy again.
Guess that's where the phrase "cold feet" comes from.

I wasn't doing too bad until that thing in a sari started hissing. That's it, this thread only from now on.

Ujjayi · 30/11/2014 22:03

And looks as tho the nanny theory is correct - the policeman was looking at "Ayahs" when he found her photo. And Tom is 110Shock

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 30/11/2014 22:05

Well that was more atmospheric shots than actual storyline but it was intriguing. I didn't watch it last week but I've got the gist of it. Didn't think it was that scary. How is she a ghost but the water is real? Hmm

So has she killed the old man and taken the young boy in his place? Why would she do that? If she's been with him for a hundred years she's not likely to just replace him surely?

Agree with the idea that she was his nanny and she's kiled every other woman that's got close to him. Not sure why she hasn't killed the young girl yet but if she wants her brother she'll want her out of the way.

guineapiglet · 30/11/2014 22:06

Also dared to watch on my own and really enjoyed tonight very good. Son thoughts; - what happened to shrine in Toms house? What is the water thing going on and what did the lovely care worker die of? No one seemed very surprised with all those police and ambulance people there. Is Aisha a malevolent force who killed Toms wife and what does she want now?!?? Not as creepy but brilliant landscapes and atmosphere, Scarborough looked fab and mysterious!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/11/2014 22:06

I had goosebumps so often. The mix of reality and not reality ugh.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/11/2014 22:09

Loved the skyscapes

barkingtreefrog · 30/11/2014 22:09

Ooo, loved the ending. Looking forward to seeing how they finish it next week.

TillHammerZeit · 30/11/2014 22:13

THe care worker drowned didnt she? Judging by the water everywhere. I think Isha must have drowned too.

R4roger · 30/11/2014 22:14

such a good drama

Nessalina · 30/11/2014 22:15

I can recommend watching with sound off & subtitles - seeing 'SHE HISSES' 'ROARING' is much less scary than hearing it! Grin
Yes, overprotective nanny, keeps him 'safe' but won't let anyone near him... he's had enough now, wants to die in peace and let go! So she'll take a new boy coz she can't find him?
'My photo's gone weird' was a bit of a flipping understatement! Grin

HaveToWearHeels · 30/11/2014 22:16

Very, very good, agree not as scarey.

TillHammerZeit · 30/11/2014 22:18

The care worker's skin looked like she'd been submerged in water too.

There was water in the lungs of the care worker who fell to her death, wasn't there? Wouldn't they have tested the fluid and found that it was saline? I'm presuming that she drowned in the sea,so I thought that the water which appears when she does, would be saltwater.

Disclaimer. I know little about post mortems.

GaryShitpeas · 30/11/2014 22:18

This has shit me right up Shock

Username12345 · 30/11/2014 22:21

I loved the bits with the ghost in the window on the bus behind Hannah and the dead woman dripping into her eggs Grin

I wonder how they're going to explain everything in 1 episode, especially since it's soo slow paced.

TillHammerZeit · 30/11/2014 22:30

I want to know why Roshana doesn't like empty houses.

If Tom does have eternal life,he certainly doesn't look like a 110 year old man, then was he cursed with it or did he seek it via the Goddess Kali? And exactly what connection does he have to the stage show at Scarborough Fair? Was he a member?

Did anyone catch when that news article describing the death of his wife, was dated?

So many questions, and I want to know the answers now,but I'll have to wait until next week.Sad

LegoAdventCalendar · 30/11/2014 22:33
  1. His wife's death cert said 1950. So Tom would have to be about 47 years old by then.
Lovelydiscusfish · 30/11/2014 22:35

I'd just like to say, arghhhhh!
