Anyone watching?

I played Scarborough Fair on the piano this morning....

I was in Asda yesterday and they were playing Scarborough Fair. WTF?

Nice to the people on Googlebox were just as terrified as I was at this programme!!

Ness I'm the same. I won't watch it but will read this. That's fine.

I'm from Yorkshire and adore MR James so this was right up my street... Guess it's just personal taste but I was terrified by this, more so than women in black or similar.

Love the theories on here and not much to add except... Did anyone else see a figure in the grass behind the black figure on the beach?

Overall great - the imagery was similar to the 1970s warning to the curious I thought.

Has anyone seen the trailer for tomorrow?no spoilers on here but it might be that it is more about the young care home worker who went to his house -Amy?- it also looked very scary again!

I'm thinking now, "oh I'm sure I can manage to watch the next episode." I've obviously forgotten my panicked fumbling with the remote, eyes closed, so I didn't see the figure in the attic.

I'm thinking I can watch it with the sound off...

I did seethe figure on the cliff!

I had a nightmare after watching it.

Then, yesterday I watched Gogglebox, which showed them watching it.
And I had another nightmare!

I'm not risking watching episode 2 tomorrow night. I'll never get any sleep at this rate.

Years ago, I had spent a good hour getting a fretful baby to sleep. I had the TV on and unexpectedly a clip from Rosemary's Baby came on.
No remotes in those days. It was a split second decision, get up quick from the sofa to switch off TV and probably wake the baby, or never be able to put the lights off again?
Babies always sleep eventually....

Just watched this on i-player. I assumed the lady in the sari was the person on the beach. But in fairness I was watching some of it through my hands...

It's no good, just watched the clip of it on goggle box and did the same panicked fumble for the remote. This thread will have to do.

Just realised will be home alone at 9 tomorrowas everyone off to see Mockingjay.... So have decided... will selflessly watch Homeland and record this to watch with everyone on Mondayin the daylight. Will read thread first so I know what bits to watch behind cushion...Homeland is tense and absorbing but not scary like this!

Loved reading all your theories. Just watched in on Iplayer. I do love a good ghost story. Didn't expect so many asians in it.

Watched today on iPlayer after being reminded of it on Gogglebox! so much good telly on lately! I am glad I watched in daylightbwith everyone in the house though...

I'd decided to definitely not watch, but I kinda want to! But I know it will give me nightmares... Argh! Why am I such a weed?

I think I'll watch it with sound off, reading MN, and turn over if it gets too scary...

What I really need is for someone to go forward in time and see if there's a happy ending!
