yeh, people knew he wasn't the easy going amiable man he'd been pretending to me. or even if it's genuine some of the time, well, it slipped without any provocation really. so I dismissed him after he told jake he was a nothing with no talent.

Jake did look a bit taken aback though (although he did agree that he also didn't really know what he was doing in the jungle because he wasn't famous like everyone else).

I'm wondering what Edwina's gameplan was in those private (for the whole world to hear) musings up in the treetop. She must surely know it will all be played out in public and Kendra will hear about it all. Don't suppose she gives a shit about that, but even so. Why not just say it to her face? She's up to something.

People seem surprised by Edwina. I'm not. She was always bound to be made of stern stuff, so her attacking the trials with gusto, a la Carol Thatcher was never going to be a shock to me. I'm not surprised either that she appears to have been quite a "girl" with the blokes too, in her day but on-going too.

Don't be fooled by her though. I think she's devious, even though I admire her no-nonsense approach.

I thought A&D were too kind to Jimmy. They only showed a tiny bit of his abuse and very little of what the other campers said about it. They aren't normally so restrained?

I'm loving Edwina but I don't think she will last long as I don't think she will appeal to the age group who vote. I actually think she is playing the game very well. She is surprisingly tolerant (outwardly at least) of the vacuous youths

Who does actually vote in these things? I've never voted on a talent or reality show and nor have my teenage DC.
