Is there all ready a thread I've missed? Line up looks not too bad this year www.ibtimes.co.uk/im-celebrity-get-out-here-2014-meet-contestants-1475084

OP posts:

I would like Tinchy to be the first out as I find him very boring. Kendra's screaming and whining is very grating but at least she gives you something to respond to. I can hardly think of any 'best moments' for Tinchy. Even last night, he endured the challenge in silence!

MrsMarigold · 01/12/2014 10:13

I have not watched this but Kendra's baby was born in May this year poor woman and poor baby, I would have gone nuts if I'd left my babies for so long at such a young age.

I realise it's a job but do you think she has big debts or something? Also I know that they don't get much maternity leave in the US so maybe it's a bit more normal but it sounds like she is coping quite well under the circumstances - she must be longing for a cuddle with her DC.

Mrsjayy · 01/12/2014 10:17

I guess they are all missing their children they all go on it to either earn money have a tax bill or just to raise their profile. I am sure she is missing her baby

clam · 01/12/2014 10:23

Also, all the cast have a round of appearances in the UK when the series finishes, to keep their profiles going. I can't see her doing that if it meant even longer away from her kids - unless they're brought along to meet her when she gets out.

Mrsjayy · 01/12/2014 10:28

I remember another American contestant doing the rounds Via Satellite I can't remember who it was though

clam · 01/12/2014 10:32

I'm trying to think who the US ones have been. Pussycat doll, Gorgeous George Takei, George Hamilton, Liza Minelli's ex, Jimmy Osmond, one of the Jacksons...

Oh God, I'm going to end up googling it now. See what you've all reduced me to?

clam · 01/12/2014 10:38

OK, here you are... Huggy Bear, Janice Dickinson (Oh God, remember her?), Sheila Ferguson, Kayla Collins (was she American??)

JeffreyGartnerEatsWell · 01/12/2014 10:39

alfonso ribeiro was my least favourite human being in the jungle ever.

he was like a tightly wound weasel, primed to be irritated all the time but with no other recognisable personality traits, oh, sorry, boastfulness!

had to laugh at the producers of the show coming up with that challenge where they had to line themselves up in order of fame and all the brits and cian were saying 'ah sure nobody knows me if they don't get channel 5' or 'only a narrow age band has heard of me' and then alfonso stood at the top of the line and yelled "me, me, I'm the most famous of them all, my show is syndicated on all major networks in 34 languages". It was hilarious.

R4roger · 01/12/2014 10:55

how quickly we forget them! Grin

Dumbledoresgirl · 01/12/2014 11:16

Awww Kian was gorgeous, wasn't he? I didn't know him before, have never heard of him since, but for a few glorious weeks last year, he was on our screens showing us what a real man can be like.

Mrsjayy · 01/12/2014 11:21

Janice Dickenson was a Nightmare seriously although loved her helicopter whisking her away just after her exit interview was fab, the Georges and Ashley roberts were my favourite Americans infact Ashley should have won her year and charlie brookes second

R4roger · 01/12/2014 11:47

i was going to post that, Ashley should have won definitely. she was lovely

Mrsjayy · 01/12/2014 11:56

I love Ashley she is very sweet,

LeFrenchDilemma · 01/12/2014 13:51

YY Ashley should have won.
Has anyone got a link to the famous line up challenge from last year that Jeffrey is talking about? Ironically I was in America so missed last years show (something I NEVER do)!

toldmywrath · 01/12/2014 19:33

Thanks ChippyMinton for your explanation re. trials. I thought that might be the case, but I watch with just one eye on the TV sometimes.Smile

Leeds2 · 01/12/2014 19:54

I really don't remember Huggy Bear being in it. I used to loathe him as a child, in Starsky & Hutch, but think I would probably like him now!

ilovechristmas1 · 01/12/2014 20:08

8.30 start tonight ladies

Only1scoop · 01/12/2014 20:38

Ooo that has taken me by surprise....

AnneEyhtMeyer · 01/12/2014 20:42

Evening.

Bored of Mel whining about food. She is acting as though she's the only one not getting fed. And 500 calories for a few days will not kill her.

Chipstick10 · 01/12/2014 20:46

I'm not keen on any of the blue team except perhaps Tinchy .

Only1scoop · 01/12/2014 20:46

Ughhh this is going to be vile....

Chipstick10 · 01/12/2014 20:47

Yuck . I would pass on that straight away

MirrorMirror · 01/12/2014 20:48

Yuk yuk yuk!

alemci · 01/12/2014 20:49

do you think the trials last night could have been rigged so the galas won. just a thought. seemed to find keys much quicker.
