Did you realise its a month today since OG finished and we're still furiously conversing on all things OG and beyond? Unfortunately, all the talk of Christmas has also reminded me that the kids finish for the Christmas holidays a month today and I've done nothing much on the organisation front. I might gonna have to show some maternal decency and put some bloody effort in! (see what I did then - OG ism combos!)

Sorry for those going to the concert if BA has cancelled I know you've all been looking forward to it and the rest of us would have enjoyed hearing the details. I hope that the organisers don't find that half the audience is missing although they've had the money for the tickets which is the most important thing. But secondly, I hope that it doesn't emerge that BA cancelled due to an unspecified internet threat to his personal safety! (Think unidentified females with flick tape measures!)

SPO this makes me think of a revised board game version of Mouse Trap - which shall be entitled CJ Trap. Those playing the game will compete to win pieces of an assault course through which a CJ character will make progress. The winner will be the one to bring down the camouflage netting on CJ at the end - and gets to keep him as the prize!

rhubarb All they needed to have done was have bag searches on entry to confiscate flicky tape measures! Anyway, richtea promised to use a soft tape measure - no risk of injury to BA's more vulnerable parts

We would never have put his safety in jeopardy. I think it's that "mad" FB lot, we are all totally sane!

Absolutely Richtea (was only joking) - the poor man doesn't know what he's gonna miss! (We are a bunch of Teddy bears albeit - camouflaged as ladies of a certain age!) Perhaps the absence is due to an extension on the filming schedule. Perhaps he's been offered a bit more work.

I'm still hopeful he will be there! I think it's a scam to ward of crazy fans, I'm not falling for that!!!

On the FB page...I'm still on there to keep track of all the stalkers! Someone has apparently watched the funeral scene with subtitles and it does say "we're nearly there". I know we were talking about what was actually said. But sad but I'm quite excited if that is the case!

I think most subtitles are automated hence the big bloopers all the time rather than inserted by an actual person who listens and checks they make sense. The script definitely says "You're nearly there" which makes sense in the context of what's happening. However, it does sound like "We're nearly there" which subtitles might pick up on and use. I haven't checked or looked at the subtitles on the DVD as they always go wrong or are half missing whenever I used them on DVD's.

In the restaurant he talks about HER being part way through a journey, not them, so much as I would like it to be "we're nearly there" I think the original is probably supposed to be "you"

Having listened closely again I think it's 'you're' rather than 'we're', which would match the script and context...

Sorry about the carol concert for those who were hoping to attend! Maybe you should do an alternative? RL Mumsnet-OG fan collective, over cocktails, design of Series 2 pitch and assessment of CJ/stag merchandise business case... I might come down incognito to London for that...

Maybe it is for the best? Sometimes when you end up meeting your idol/crush etc they don't always live up to what you expect them to be. I mean his not going to be wearing combats?

Pre-DH when I had a proper job (pre-kids) I used to deal with this guy on the phone, it was a local courier company that would send out our legal documents etc, more or less every day we would speak. His voice was so lovely and we would flirt together constantly. He suggested we meet for a drink after work..... Big mistake!

I'm still here, though haven't posted for ages. My mother is in and out of the hospice at the moment so life is all at sixes and sevens. But the thread(s) have been keeping me going as a wonderful crazy distraction. I think I may even be more addicted to the thread than OG itself (I haven't had any time to watch any for weeks), especially the stags, Upton Park visits and Icemist's morning photos. Hope all is going well today Iloveblue (and apologies for the similar name!).

Ilovevenice I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time at the moment. Stay with us - I don't think any of us are likely to be leaving this thread thread anytime soon, so if it is helping you, I'm really glad.

Ihearttc perhaps you could act as our mole inside the FB group. You could be a kind of agent provocateur who could work from within to give us Intel, change them into like minded people and curb their excesses! I think I could be straying into Homeland territory here. What do you reckon Agent Ihearttc do you accept the mission?

cherin You can't tease us with the possibility of a mic swinging stag - now you'll have to deliver. I'll be eagerly awaiting the fruit of your labours tomorrow. Are you travelling by train? If so, ensure you're not sitting next to an innocent young person. You don't want to corrupt them, if they chance to glimpse what you're drawing...
