Corrie thread - still no sign of Cilla or Fat Brenda but Kim Tate on the horizon

Here we are again - a brand new thread for more Corrie ramblings.

Can't believe Cilla still hadn't turned up by the end of the last thread.

Still hoping for an enormous cast-cull. Hoping for a bomb / gas explosion / serial killer / all of the previous.

I'm wondering the same camolips, surely there is no actual evidence that it was Rob... Hmmm...

I guess the fact that he ran away shows there is something badly wrong, but realistically, they have nothing yet, in terms of hard evidence, against him.
I know it's bad of me, but I can't even feel sorry for Tracyluv.

There are scriptwriters on this thread. Admittedly we always go on about a cull, but what a coincidence one is announced. It needs to be a train rather than a bus so we can ensure a mass exodus. Michelle first then all of kals family, the windasses, fizz tyrone, andrea, lloyd, owen et al, todd, cilla......

Maybe they can upgrade the mini-bus to a 32 seater coach.

No I didn't feel sorry for Tracey either! Both episodes tonight have left me feeling a little deflated after the long build up to the reveal. The only one who gave the right reaction was Peter. Oh well, onto the next storyline...

No I didn't feel one bit sorry for Tracey, she is horrible, Carla had told the police that Rob told her where he dumped the murder weapon I think.

The downside is we will have Tracy gurning and shrieking for the rest of the year, especially every time she sees Carla.

I really want Cilla to stay. She could do a great double act with Beth. I love Beth and can't wait for her wedding.

Beth can be funny at times, gazing at the wedding cake last night and wondering if she would ask Michelle for it, and would it keep until Christmas.
I liked the bits of humour in last night's episodes. Like the guy giving Kirky his phone number, when it was Sean who wanted it.
Or Kev's comment about anyone marrying Tracy Barlow. I do think Tracy is going to be even more painful for the next while (if that is possible).

Suddenly remembered last night why Gail.wouldnt even be on a 'making up the numbers' guestlist - wasn't there history when her and Tracey were both in prison at the same time, and Tracey did some big betrayal of Gail? I can't remember the details, but had a flashback to it last night!

I liked Tim's comment about putting 'Just Arrested' on the back window in shaving foam!

Tim and Sally and now Kevin are going to get some great lines! I loved the way Kev and Tim seem to have hit it off with sally in the middle. And Sally's pretensions are so beautifully foiled with Tim's plebness.
I liked the way that Tracy's makeup was allowed to run, usually even when people are devastated their make-up remains perfect - cf Tina.
Was trying to remember which wedding it was that Sally & Tim nipped upstairs to an empty room ...?

I think it was at Peter and Carla's wedding that Sally and Tim snuck upstairs.
I remember that they arrived in an awful old van, into the really posh wedding venue. Agreed, I love Sally's pretensions mixed in with Tim's totally opposite approach to life.

Why are they trying to pretend that anyone likes Tracey? Ken saying 'I couldn't be prouder'. Why? And that Rob is the lucky one. FFS.

That must have been one of Deidre's lines - I thought that as he said it. She can be a bit daft with Tracy, but Ken's normally more sensible.

is Cilla really ill or faking it do we think?

The actress who plays Deirdre is unwell in real life so they had to hurriedly write her out - in the show she's on holiday to recover from stress of Peter stuff.

I hope she's faking it! It wouldn't be Cilla if she wasn't. Love her expressions. Her face was made for wheedling fake sympathy out of loved-ones.
