Berdy has a real dab on. Not surprising I guess.

BustaGut is being presented with the Most Improved Player of the year trophy. He looks distinctly underwhelmed.

Oh hang on, he's cracked a smile - I think he's just nervous.

Ooh Coric looks sharp - getting the ATP star of tomorrow award. He has a suit on, unlike BustaGut ' s trousers and v-neck.

More eloquent than BustaGut too and he's only 17. Ok ok, I admit it - I just don't like BustaGut :)

Tim hasn't aged at all.

Blimey Castle does rattle on, his lung capacity is awesome - doesn't pause for breath for ages.

And Tim just called Marin "Marion" :)

yes Im the Berdy fan but I like Cilic too so didn't mind who won.

I watch it on eurospert, youd think Castle would run out of words after his radio show but noooooo. he loves the sound of his own voice.

the doubles last night was awesome, again, didn't mind who won out of Lopez/Granollers and Dodig/Celo.

Lopez has a 45 year old face but hes only in his 20s isn't he?

Dc loves saying Dodigs name over and over, she thinks its a funny word!

cant get away from the Murray family on tv these days! not a bad thing though.

Your dc are right Tardis - Dodig is a funny word :) I'm dithering as to whether to go or not - there are still tickets left and I could go on Friday. Ds1 and I went on Friday and Saturday last year and had a fab time so I'm tempted, especially as the wtf finals may not be in London next year.

Raahh, where are you - Ferrer has stepped in to play Nishikori. I'm already not keen on Nishikori and it seems the steam machine operator agrees with me - that was more of a wisp than a cloud he had to walk on to court through. :) And, he didn't so much as glance at the little boy who walked with him to his seat. Hmmph.

Ooh- i can't watch at the moment, but Vamos Ferrer!!

what is wrong with Milos? He hasn't been playing as well as he can.

I'm not keen on Nishikori - i don't know why, I just have never warmed to him.

Definitely go if you can juan. We were there Tuesday and yesterday both sessions. Ds1 had a amazing time
Poor Stan though he started so well, for about 5 minutes.....
Saw ferrer practising yesterday and wondered if he'd just come by to support Lopez, didn't realise he was standing in for milos.

Saw nishikori practising as well, he was very smiley and cheerful, that doesn't come across when he's playing.
Vamos ferrer! But I don't think he's gonna pull this back.

I love Nishikori! plus he has Michael Chang as his coach, a double wammy!

Ooh Mama, glad you had a great time. Did you have good seats? Was it packed - last year it was so busy you had to virtually shuffle along with your arms by your sides. Im tempted. I'd either have to go on my own or drag dd with me. She's not very keen as a) tomorrow is her day off, and b) she thinks tennis is marginally less interesting than watching paint dry :)

As you all know I'm no fan of federer but that was some great tennis, thinking a Djokovic/fed final, would be hard to call that one though.
Juan I paid for downstairs seats and I'm in a wheelchair when I'm out and about, so we get parked near the front (having a crappy body does have some serious advantages ) so the view was amazing. The place was jammed inside the arena and very hot, but I don't think it was as busy outside as the past few years, around the practice courts etc.

Just back from the O2. That was a Fed master class and an honour to see it. Back on Saturday for the semi finals.

Missed the MuFed match.

Did Fed really play brilliantly or was Murray over the rainbow?

no way should the score have been that with someone like Muzza playing his best and putting in an effort.

Fed was out of this world. Mugs wasn't injured, wasn't even his prattish self (leg clutching, swearing at his team etc) he was just light years behind in, you know, playing tennis.
Couldn't fault his effort, but he was powerless in the face of the mighty Fed at his best.

missed the Djok/Nish match but heard that Djok got upset when crowd cheered a double fault he made?

much prefer the doubles this year.

Dodig/Melo were brilliant. going to ty and watch other doubles now on sky sports.

Just back from the O2 and in my hotel room. That was an astonishing match but I think Stan has done for Fed in the final tomorrow. Energy sapping three hours
