Two celebs confirmed so far for the 2014 series:

Frankie from The Saturdays
Judy Murray (Andy's mum)

Not sure if they are deliberately only releasing one name at a time, but it can't be long before the big reveal.

So polish off your Cuban heels and slip into something tight and sparkly, it's almost here!

Good line up this year, especially the men! I've also heard of most of them. I think x-factor may struggle this year against that line-up, at least for the female vote! It seems a younger line up this year.

I always like James's dancing, although my favourite is Ian. I wish he would return.

Ooh, I'm going to be watching this series. I've had a crush on Simon Webbe for years (seriously, his solo albums are really good) and I'm also quite keen to see Tim Winnacott. I'm usually at work when Bargain Hunt is on, but when I get the chance to watch it, I find it bizarrely compelling.

I would totally deny all of the above if you met me in real life.

I watch it every year but it bugs me that they seem to have a token "old gimmer" and a token "big woman". I liked Lisa Riley and she could dance but it is like they put women like her in as the "comedy element" and then express utter shock if they can dance.

I think Tess is moving up to do Bruce's job (the main presenter bit) and Claudia is going to be doing what Tess used to (the interviewing of the couples after the dance etc).

Livia it's the same in the jungle. Also there's a game (tough) old bird, nubile young one you've never heard of with plastic boobs, a gay or just camp bloke, someone who's been in trouble but seems to be nice and a curmudgeon (usually female but could be either).

I'm trying to remember if there was a fat woman in the last Strictly, it's good to have a variety though because a lot of dyed blonde, plastic boobed women look alike don't they?

I think its great that they have older/bigger stars on there, but I wish they were taken a bit more seriously rather than the judges being shocked if they are any good!

Though to be fair they were also surprised when Louis finally 'danced'! IMO you can either dance or not , size is not relevant.

I'm so glad Bruce has gone. Fair play that he is so active at his age but it was definitely overdue!

Really looking forward to claudia- I loved her doing it takes two and the bits she did last year were great. I hope that tess is more natural this year. Although she did seem to be trying to overcompensate for Bruce last year I suppose.

I must say I'm looking forward to being able to watch a whole series without my finger hovering over the mute button ready to press whenever Bruce opened his mouth. Even then, the sight of him gurning and pawing Tess irritated me. Just think, the sheer bliss of no longer having the idiot going into paroxysms every time someone gets a standing ovation!
