Not sure if they are deliberately only releasing one name at a time, but it can't be long before the big reveal.

I don't know much about Pixie Lott. I suspect she's the stage school ringer.

The line up is shaping up to be pretty strong this year. I can't wait!

I agree Redcoats her and Frankie from the Saturdays, both will have had dance training.

I'm glad Iveta is back, and they seem to have some actual famous people this year which is good. I never rated artems dancing so not too sad hes gone, as long as pasha is there I'm happy

Caroline Flack has been confirmed.

I must be old because I don't know any of these people (don't get ITV in Belgium, don't watch sports/soaps). Still, I doubt it'll put me off watching as it's the only thing I watch on BBC regularly, that and either Dr Who/Muskateers (all with dd).

Longtime - this is the first time in a long time that i know who they all are. Usually I only know the older/comedy ones.

I thought Caroline flack presents the X factor? How's she going to be on Strictly?

Just read Ola has been complaining about Strictly. Don't these Jordan's ever learn?

I think Ola has a bit of a point, the dancers are the ones that put in all the hours for the show so it's not fair that the judges are paid substantially more for comparatively little work.

I read something about there being a new presenter on Xtra Factor so presumably Caroline has quit.

Frankel - maybe, but its not very wise to slag off your current employer in public, especially when your husband has just been sacked for doing the same thing.
Im sure there's a million and one dancers chomping at the bit to get her job. £30k for 4 months work isn't that bad.

Watched Strictly in South Africa. It turned into a game of guess which of the couple was the celebrity and which was the pro because we had no idea at all who anyone was! A very different viewing experience.

My dance teacher works a lot in Greece, she said in some cases it's hard to tell who the pro was due to the dodgy standard of dancing!

Ooh, Steve Backshall! I took dd1 to a rainy field in Derbyshire a few months back just because he was doing a talk there and she I really wanted to meet him. Front row seats in the tent and he even brushed up against me on his way out.
Dd was and Dh missed it because he was forging a viking neck knife or something. He was a really good speaker, quite self deprecating and can confirm is just as fit in the flesh as on TV.

Oo Signora, am jealous. DS thinks he's great and of course I encourage him watching Deadly 60 etc purely for its educational value
