Not sure if they are deliberately only releasing one name at a time, but it can't be long before the big reveal.

So polish off your Cuban heels and slip into something tight and sparkly, it's almost here!

Well I like the male line up so far. I'm In already.

I like seeing Steve get his shirt off as much as the next woman, but I'm not convinced he's got dancing ability. I would suggest his partner focuses on ensuring he is scantily clad every week, just to be on the safe side.

I used to love Scott Mills' show, particularly Innuendo Bingo, but stopped listening when they moved his slot. He'll be good fun though

This is the first year I'll watch Strictly, solely because I've been told Steve Backshall will be on it.

He's got some kind of foot injury, I thought, so I'm kind of surprised he's accepted. But whether he can dance or not is immaterial - he's always so bloody enthusiastic and wholehearted and delighted about everything that even if he's a terrible dancer, he'll still be a joy to watch.

Especially if he's shirtless.

ArcheryAnnie the way it generally seems to work with the male celebs is that they start off a bit coy, maybe a button or two undone on their shirts but by week 5 it's slashed-to-the-naval-sequins-everywhere
