Anyone planning to watch this?

I was a little like these children; joined Mensa as a child, but used my ability to coast through school/university rather than to achieve anything noteworthy.

DS2 is also of this ilk. We are not doing any of the things these parents are doing, although when opportunities arise through school then obviously we let him participate.

Oh dear. Poor Rubiyat. He'll torture himself over the "CERN" question.

I do hope Sharon wins

I felt bad for rubiyat. He always impressed me throughout the series as you can tell he is genuinely interested in his topics etc and hadn't just randomly picked something to rote learn like some of the others. I'm sure he will go far in life!

Rubiyat's subject was much more complex than the other's.

I liked Rubaiyat's parents very much. I do hope Sharon wins as she has done it herself but poor Tudor if he loses.

I really like Rubiyat too and hope his friendship with the boy from last week is fruitful.

I was really rooting for Rubiyat and Sharon to get to the final. Tudor's parents scare me.

If Tudor doesn't win I suspect he will be forced back every year until he does.

Sharon seems to be more the natural genius, she has done her studying alone.
Of course she is a few years older too...

I feel for him. His parents are dreadful.

I am pleased sharon is winning but can't help but feel sorry for Tudor, under so much pressure from his parents :(

Haven't really followed this but Tudor's parents are just awful, he is obviously very bright but those parents....
