Big Brother - Thread 3 - Is Kim human?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 04/07/2014 22:13

Welcome to thread three - so many questions:

  • Will we grow to like any of them?
  • Why is Ash so handsome but such a dick?
  • Will Winston tell Danielle she looks like the Joker?
  • Will Steven realise he will never have a conversation with Robo-Kim?
  • Why wasn't Ash evicted???

the difference is that when they took treats there was still an opportunity for people to do stuff to recharge the battery. the safety app was an instant fail with no way of changing it. Marlon put himself over a week of hunger for everyone else.

theeternalstudent · 09/07/2014 22:58

I would be grossed out too if Semen was talking to me about marriage. After all, they have only known each other for what, 5 weeks?
Helen and Ash are sweet together though. I like the fact that they aren't 'getting it on' like Fingerly and Semen. They're just so icky.

fourforksache · 09/07/2014 23:00

the humping at the end [VOM]

theeternalstudent · 09/07/2014 23:12

What is Luke wearing? He is really unpleasant.

Shoopshoop2 · 09/07/2014 23:17

Has Dexter been coaching Steven and Danielle? What is true on BB anymore?

DH has had the football on, so I haven't seen tonight's yet. Extra time now, so I wish I had gone to bed.

TheReluctantCountess · 09/07/2014 23:22

Oooooooh! So Steven had at least met Dexter - I don't know what goes on anymore. I was cross when I found out Danielle had dated Dexter. It's weird. Incentuous. (Well it's not, but you know what I mean)

I feel sick. It's partly the fingering, and partly one of my dogs farting.

onedev · 09/07/2014 23:23

Football still on here too Anne, so I'll have to catch up tomorrow!

FelixFelix · 09/07/2014 23:37

Was catching up on the cycling here so will watch tomorrow.

cheekygeeky · 10/07/2014 00:47

Why was Barry singing on bots? That show just gets more and more bizarre.

Was lovely to see Marlon squirming tonight. Helen next please big brother.

Actor??? I thought he set up a company in competition with his parents (which is a fairly odd thing to do anyhoo). Don't believe any of it now

Fullpleatherjacket · 10/07/2014 09:09

Isn't Semen supposed to have had a gastric band?

How then is he managing to stow away massive bowls of cereal?

The story about his parents and the millions he's supposed to have made stitching them up always seemed rather far fetched.

Agree with all the behind the scenes schmoozing feeling rather incestuous. C5 have been complete nightmares of manipulation with it. I hope it goes elsewhere after this. Think ITV and C4 are supposed to be interested.

Nix01 · 10/07/2014 09:30

I've missed about 3 weeks of it, which days are must watch catch up?

fourforksache · 10/07/2014 10:18

all of this week is worth a watch, you could miss the other 2 as there are the odd catch up clips on bots.

Kaluki · 10/07/2014 11:40

I think they should stop putting these media whores in there and take it right back to the way it started with a bunch of nobodies in there.
If dexter has been coaching the housemates then he really didn't do a great job! They should demand a refund!!!

KurriKurri · 10/07/2014 11:48

On that acting profile thing of Steven - click along the categories at the top - under 'acting' it says no experience, under physical details it says he is 6'2", weighs less than 88lbs (six stone four pounds) and has a chest less than 29" - that's one hell of a gastric band he's had!

Shoopshoop2 · 10/07/2014 11:58

More Steven BS. Looks like he and Kimberly deserve each other.

StilaOnTheWrongPlane · 10/07/2014 12:31

Kaluki we could put together a better 'Big Brother' than Channel 5 have given us . They have meddled too much since the start when they went all anti Aaron and started 'family' nominations .

waitingforgodot · 10/07/2014 14:43

Shoopshoop2
Its all so contrived isn't it?

Shoopshoop2 · 10/07/2014 14:49

Isn't it just waiting? Not the premise of the show.

Coumarin · 10/07/2014 15:28

I'm tempted to just stop watching altogether. Never thought I'd say that about BB. None of the channel 5 series have been as good as it used to be but at least there was a vague sense of rules and structure. Plus there was always someone to route for.

I miss the old Big Brother. Sad This is more like a scripted 'reality' show like The Hills or Made in Chelsea.

Coumarin · 10/07/2014 15:35

Re the battery draining. I understood it as whoever hit the button would completely drain whatever was left. So even if everyone had turned their treats/apps down and there was 100% left, it still would've drained to 0%. They were always going to fail if someone pressed their button so the other decisions were just window dressing really.

Ah I can't even stop chatting about it let alone stop watching.

WowserBowser · 10/07/2014 16:22

Yes Coumarin and the other housemates probably wouldn't have picked their treats if they knew it would definitely mean they would lose the task.

thornrose · 10/07/2014 16:28

Coumarin I've stopped watching, I just read this thread to keep up on the shenanigans. This is the first series I have been unable to continue watching! I've been a fan since Series 1. Sad

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 10/07/2014 16:34

I loved the first series when the tasks were hard and people had to really try to win the shopping budget.

Nasty Nick and Mel kissing Mr erection in his red shorts (what was his name?) Those were the days!
