Yep, I thought it was great too. One problem... I seem to have fallen a little bit in love with the unlikely heart throb that is James Corden! Confused

I am just watching it now. I love GB.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 14:20

I do love a funny northern man...

Just to mix it up a bit I'd like to say that I hate them both.

LineRunner · 06/05/2014 16:04

I watched it and was very catsbum over Gary Barlow's careless driving with the dancey hands off the wheel.

God I'm getting old.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 16:10

LOL you old giffer!Grin

sonlypuppyfat · 06/05/2014 16:15

Agreed can't stand either of them, bland music and someone who thinks he's funny.

JeanSeberg · 06/05/2014 16:18

I'd be hard pushed to say which one I can't stand more; a pair of smug twats without an ounce of humility between them.

Vivacia · 06/05/2014 17:04

I wasn't in to Take That and don't know much about Barlow's life. But. I loved this programme, there seemed a genuine rapport there and I laughed out loud a few times.

Ivehearditallnow · 06/05/2014 17:55

Ugh it made me cringe...Could only stomach 5 mins then left the room.

Pair of arrogant wankers!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 18:39

I am going to watch on I player. Footy was on last night. Angry

OwlCapone · 06/05/2014 18:41

I agree. It sounds like it was horrendous.

Flossiechops · 06/05/2014 18:48

I thought it was brill. I loved that somebody who was ridiculed so badly has made an amazing comeback and had the last laugh.

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2014 18:50

I am hoping it will explain why GB is worthy of his 'National Treasure' status rather than fairly nice bloke that done good IYKWIM.

GoogleIsBad · 06/05/2014 18:54

Did he explain the whole tax avoidance issue? Assuming not?! Arrogant arse, I can't stand him.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 19:03

Sparkling-because he's hugely talented?

Tell me about the tax avoidance...

OP posts:
DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 19:04

Most 'national treasures' are just hugely talented at what they do, aren't they?

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2014 19:04

I know that Dame Grin but so are a lot of others....

Flossiechops · 06/05/2014 19:12

He didn't seem arrogant in the least. Quite the opposite I thought. To have had it all & lost it must be tough but he seemed humbled by his experience.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 19:40

I agree flossie - he didn't come over as bitter either. That sketch that David Walliams and Matt Lucas did of him was down right cruel and to have your former mate laughing along must have been horrendous!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 06/05/2014 19:42

I missed this - what channel was it? I want to try and find it on On Demand.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 06/05/2014 19:44

BBC 1 or 2 , there were no ads.

I've just googled the tax thing. He didn't do anything illegal. I think you'd have to be very naive to think that the majority of very wealthy people didn't do similar in one way or another. They need to close the loop role in the law - but I doubt it will happen.
