Ok tonight I have loved Luisa. She's been funny, lovely to Casey. She's just shown her best side. Casey is nice - ok she's been a doormat but I think I can probably identify with that a bit!

No one has really annoyed me tonight which is novel - oh except lee, but he's gone now anyway.

I doubt I'll stay awake but I really want to see Lee's interview!

You know what surprised me about Jim? That he has a teenage (mid twenties???) daughter. I genuinely convinced myself that men with daughters were less sexist etc, because they want the best for their daughters and want to show their daughters how they "should" be treated.

Him having a daughter and still being a pig makes me dislike him more. Or something that makes sense.

It wasn't that long since he was chucked off that celebrity chef thing for his homophobic remarks to Brian Dowling.
But I agree, that sort of humour was prevalent in the 70's/80's.
Look at sit coms like Love my Neighbour and On the Buses and many, many more, sexism, homophobia and racism was rife.
Maybe Jim has changed, who knows. I think drink did bad things to him.

The thing is I could Like Jim if I knew he had undergone a Damascene conversion but ......... the bath comment, that wasn't poor taste that was quite shocking in the light of previous speculation. I know he has been exonerated.

it's one thing to flirt with someone but to look after them in a paternal way and make those kind of comments makes me uncomfortable

Actually, at the risk of letting the side down and getting flamed, I hope he does although I still suspect he could get pipped at the post as usually happens.

Purely on what we have seen (not history or past behaviour), he has been the best housemate imo. He's been noticeable (unlike Sam and Ollie), funny, kind, not aggressive to others (unlike Luisa) except when he retaliated to Linda and not an attention seeker (unlike Lee, Casey and Dappy) Also Luisa has just admitted that she, and presumably others, were encouraged to dislike him by Linda, which must have been quite hurtful (as one of his friends pointed out on BBOTS last week)
