I was talking to my Mum earlier and she asked me about Casey. I said that she's a young woman who fell for a guy that didn't like her back.

And we've all done that.

Granted, we didn't do it on film but I do feel sorry for her. She'll learn.

In defence of Jim too (), it must be hard to have been lauded for years for something (being a sexist, racist comedian), selling out theatres, being on prime-time TV, being at the top of your game, then suddenly popular opinion changes and you are suddenly taken off TV and frowned upon, and yet you haven't changed a thing.

That last post was about Jim btw, massive cross posts with everyone else. He comes across to me as quite sensitive and caring beneath that old, sexist comedy front

So hopefully it'll be the comedian and not his alter ego.

Is Rufus Hound on? He may be ok. But Keith Lemon sets my teeth on edge. And Amy Willerton is just a waste of good air.

Anne you make a valid point. I do think Jim is acting up to his 'persona' but underneath I think he is probable a decent guy. He was so well known for that sort of comedy - along with most other comedians in that generation - that he probably now doesn't know how he can adapt his act. He still has a reasonable following, as do other 'controversial' comedians. For some, it is their only unique selling point. A bit like the bearded lady in the circus. I actually feel some sympathy with him.

If you go on the Channel 5 Big brother page there is today's challenge, called Last Chance Saloon, where they are asked questions put by the other housemates and on Twitter. Jim does a funny impression of Lee.
