the problem is there are claimants that live like this,i know a few but this is gonna portay ALL claimants as this which is just not true

and i am a claimant myself and dont live anything like this

I just think it could have been done differently - I mean what about the honest people that genuinely are deserving/need their benefits.

And how are they going to get away with actual thieving on tv???

Another attempt of the media trying to create a two tier system. Clearly these people have been failed by every support system we have.

Not all people on benefits are like this. Apparently they tricked the residents to participate in a ' community spirit' show.

Pretty much everybody that has been shown before offers nothing to society, so why should they be 'entitled' to anything

there money has been stopped because they have failed to attend appointments

im no fan of the goverment but to say "our moneys been stopped" without mentioning the peoples refusal to attend,so not quite as it seems

It feels like propaganda. Considering these are the people being hammered atm. Start by portraying all people in a certain situation as being 'undeserving' in some way. remove any dregs of so called 'decent people's' understanding/care before you begin your attack upon them.

Now I know the press in this country does not exist to spout government propaganda / to manipulate popular opinion in favour of government policy - so why does it feel like that's exactly what's happening?

When she said we've not been paid? I thought you only got paid if you earned it.

no,now if you dont attend appointments,eg job club,medicals,signing on etc they can sanction you (stop your payments)

thats why they havent been "paid" they havent complied with the new rules that have been coming in for awhile
