I don't get it - with that sort of money, he could leave the rat race, and do something more fulfilling in the UK. They live near Brighton, they could get a holiday home in Cornwall or somewhere, everyone's a winner!

Why do people think that moving to the other side of the world is the answer?

sailorsgal · 29/01/2014 09:51

I guess he would have to work as well. ha ha

TwinklyMummaLuvsHerBubba89 · 29/01/2014 09:51

have missed most of this due to my darling baby being sick in my hair, and we ain't talking milky sick either Envy

bloody kids!

anyway, I agree they should see what their money would buy them in the UK - move further North and their money will stretch further. There is beautiful coast line all over the UK!

Horsemad · 29/01/2014 09:51

Especially if I'd worked as hard as she has.

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:52

Zesty. Grin I want to be that.

susiedaisy · 29/01/2014 09:52

Never satisfied some people. Grass is always greener for some people!

Horsemad · 29/01/2014 09:53

Waaaah!!!

susiedaisy · 29/01/2014 09:54

Nope can't see any advantage at all for them to move to nz.

TwinklyMummaLuvsHerBubba89 · 29/01/2014 09:54

gah! be grateful for your lovely family network ffs! stayin the UK. don't take Albert away from his GPs Sad

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:54

He and his family have amazing eyes!!!

Hah, the young nephew gives the voice of sensible reason.

Why don't they just take a 3 week holiday in NZ once a year...? Or move to the coast? Or buy a holiday home...?

Martha75 · 29/01/2014 09:55

Lovelybright little boy. They have a good lifestyle in the UK - if he wantsto snowboard go to Switzerland - they can afford it each year.

TwinklyMummaLuvsHerBubba89 · 29/01/2014 09:55

its no good, I need to rewash my hair....!

update appreciated Grin

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:56

So so lucky to have such lovely GPs. When you read all the threads on here about ones who don't care, or who have passed. Sad

susiedaisy · 29/01/2014 09:56

She seems to know all the reality of it. He seems to be only just realising

MrsReiver · 29/01/2014 09:56

I don't normally subscribe to the "don't take your kids away from their grandparents" point of view, but this time I think I am.

CosyTeaBags · 29/01/2014 09:56

God there's enough pain in life, why create more....?

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:56

Caravan in Cornwall would sort this.

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:57

Wow moment? Confused

susiedaisy · 29/01/2014 09:57

So the wow moment was a wetsuit!!

CosyTeaBags · 29/01/2014 09:58

"To see Albert in a wetsuit".... ok that's worth moving to the opposite side of the globe for.

Move to NewQuay if it's that important!

Piggychunk · 29/01/2014 09:58

Bonkers!

dingdong3 · 29/01/2014 09:58

Update is already up!
Emma and Andrew are still living in Brighton, but thoughts of a move to New Zealand are never far from their minds. The couple are still struggling to decide where their future lies, but are planning a trip down under in 2014, hoping it will help them make a decision once and for all.

Sparklingbrook · 29/01/2014 09:59

Well that was a riveting 45 minutes. Update says they are still faffing about deciding.
