Many years ago I ended up in Maxine's 21st birthday party in a club in deansgate, Manchester. Most of the cast was there and I remember she had 2 cakes. One in the design of the street and the other as audurys hair salon.

The actress who plays Gail platt's mum (I don't watch corrie so don't know her name) I've seen a few times around manc city center. last time a few weeks ago was in piccadilly train station where she stood behind me in the taxi queue and ruffled my 3yr old dds hair saying how cute she was
she was lovely and chatty. I didn't say I recognised her cos I didn't evenknow her character name or real name!

I saw Dev in a Blockbusters in North London years ago.

Cilla Brown gave me a long dirty look for no apparent reason behind the scenes of a tv show after she left Corrie.

A friend saw Deirdre in a Halifax in Manchester and said she was very down-to-earth and friendly with the cashier.

We were going on holiday to Cyprus years ago, and our seats were next to Vera Duckworth and her husband. Once the cabin crew twigged they were 'celebrities' they moved them to a row on their own.
I was a bit surprised at them travelling on a cheapo flight (jet2 or ryanair I think).

Also seen Mavis' husband (can't think of his name) he had a toyshop in Covent Garden.

Oh these are brilliant! Shame I can't add anything relevant, what with living hundreds of miles from Manchester.

I can report sightings of a couple of Eastenders, does that count? Most recently "Riiiccckkkkkkaaaaaaay!" ......looking very rough and buying crates of beer in Sainsburys.

Am still sniggering about Bill Roache tripping over and Eileen snapping over her condiments.....
