Also, my Nan was friends with Alec Gilroy, DH knows Fiz professionally and I frequent the same T K Maxx as Sophie.

I saw Peter Barlow walking along our high street a couple of years ago. They had been filming in Blackpool.
He was very small with a big nose, but had very smart shoes.

My friend saw Eileen and Les Battersby on holiday together once. Kirk used to live behind me and sometimes Tyrone and Fizz would come round. The grandkids of the woman next door to them thought their grandma lived on coronation street when she saw them all together.

But then I did used to live in Manchester!

I sat on the next table to Michelle Keegan in a restaurant a few years ago. It was before she turned orange and is beautiful close up.
I saw Dev in a bar in central Manchester, he is huge and seemed a bit up himself and David Platt trying to put his screaming daughter into a buggy at the Trafford Centre.

Martin Platt, is now a cheese producer.
saw him at a posh local farm shop event a few years back. Seemed like a nice guy,doing a thing he loves.

Yes - his cheese is very good. He has won awards for it.

Saw Sarah Lancashire ( Raquel) a few years ago at Manchester Picadilly.

Think Peter Barlow must live very near to me as he's always outside local cafes and pubs on his phone or having a fag.

Molly Dobbs judged the PTA bake off at DDs school this year and I think that they guy who played Jamie has a kid at the school.

Used to see Carla having breakfast in a cafe round the corner from us quite a lot, but not recently.

Saw Sally Webster buying a sofa at the Habitat discount shop in Whythenshaw a few years ago. Thought it was a bit odd as Corrie must pay pretty well, but I guess everyone like a bargain.

Also saw Dierdre Barlow at my hairdressers once, which did make me think that I should go elsewhere!

Yes, I live in Manchester. Probably spotted lots of other Corrie stars about, but can't think of them at the moment.

Seen Martin Platt in the pub last year he had been at a food festival.

Saw Dev on the train to London.

I also served les Battersby and Janice in a restaurant.

Gina the barmaid (remember her, was also in Shameless - Jennifer James/ Boardman) is in my slimming world group and is absolutely lovely

Also seen Peter Barlow and Steve McDonald in Didsbury but that was about 7/8 yrs ago (when I had a social life before children!)

Oh and Audrey Roberts at a together trust charity fun day (she's a patron) in Cheadle.

Forgot I've also seen Anthony cotton in dukes92 in Manchester and Kirk in Akbars curry house also, (unsurprisingly!) in mcr.

We live on the south coast so not very likely to bump into corrie characters, but we did have one spend the afternoon in our pub garden in Hove. I haven't watched it for about ten years so I can't remember the names now but there were two brothers and one was gay. It was the non-gay one I saw.

Tracy Barlow lives in Dulwich, SE London. I've seen her on the school run..

There seems to be a bit of a travel thing with Dev. I saw him once at Stafford motorway services (northbound) driving a big red beast of a car, and being rather obviously aware of all the muttering and nudging going on in his wake when he got out to have a pee and buy a Krispy Kreme doughnut

Met Curly Watts in bar of our dodgy apart hotel in Cyprus (90's) and my parents met Liz Dawn on a cruise in 90's too. Friend lost her luggage and Liz lent her lots of her clothes until she got her case!

Other than that, I don't think I've ever seen anyone remotely famous. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention.
