We watched buble I love him! Then turned off as dh was getting grumpy about people no one wants to see paying to be on graham norton! Apparently arnie should be on there strongbow talking then found done crappy music channel until 5 to and watched the amazing fireworks :) one day I'll be there!

Dh now snoring and as I'm running at parkrun tomorrow better go to sleep! Night all will look forward to reading tomorrow

Seems like MN was more WTF than Doctors last night! Bonkers.

I spent the entire evening not coping with DS2 who screamed for hours due to noise, the fact it rained , a very wobbly tooth and fireworks. I bloody hate autism right now. Never seen him so inconsolable. He doesn't understand that I can't stick the tooth back down and...note to self...mentioning the Tooth Fairy does NOT help. Oh no.

MN was crackers last night. all very frustrating.

The noise was awful last night- I had an early night as had to be up for 6am but was woken by a stoopid amount of fireworks at midnight (bah humbug)

Oh MsN, that's crap. It was quite quiet here as there was loads of rain, so no fireworks. Although the rain was bad, so maybe that wouldn't have helped.

MN was bonkers last night. I think one HQer will be name-changing pronto! I thought I would never see my lovely SDTPs again.

Wind and rain here was awful last night (as was MN). Wind has died down but still raining and we seem to have another flood warning. Might buy myself a boat.

We had an ok morning, I ran at parkrun and it was dry but started raining about 12 and hasn't stopped. Dh rode his motorbike to work and said it was horrid, the wind was scary and spent the whole journey saying 'should have taken the car'. I really don't know where today has gone! I know days off go faster than working days and we didn't wake up until 8.45 which is late for us but seriously today has disappeared!

So what did Julie do?

Today has flown. Bit of bowling, shopping, visiting and I am wondering where the day went.

As for DC2 he is 9 so it is not the first tooth he has lost but in the past the teeth have always fallen out at school or been swallowed with meals. I much prefer those ways. Quick and no tears

Ha! I just remembered he also had a tooth out once when he went for a lumbar puncture. I loved the anaethatist for doing that.

He is now in denial about the tooth but is talking like Humphrey Bogart

I escaped most of the MN shenanigans last night, was only really posting on this thread, using my phone so I didn't see it all unfold. Realised it had gone tits-up about 12.30 and went to bed.

Today it has rained hard non stop all day, not a break. DH popped out to Sainsburys this afternoon, I popped out to the garden shed, that's been it. Did a pile of ironing and watched the Sound of Music with DD this afternoon, just watched the very exciting darts final now. House looks like a tip.

Yes, the high jinks all got out of hand and the one, inexperienced moderator on duty closed it to all new posts. There was uproar!

I really cannot wait until Monday. It seems so long since the pantomime episode!
