We could start with a Christmas decoration burning competition.

Boon is dead, he was Kat's uncle wasn't he and he died while filimng eastenders I believe. He's been in something though.

Not much Christmas spirit in evidence there was there? Apart from in the hip flasks.

You would have thought that even though Gobby can't remember Rob she might have been attracted to him a little? They must have been together from a reasonably young age. I'm going to be worrying about them over Christmas .

Jimmi is unlucky in love and still hates Daniel for sleeping with princess bubblegum (his now ex wife)

Phil is some random copper who works with GobbyPlod.

I didn't know Phil was a copper just thought she picked him up in the pub.

Guessing Jimmi is just not in the Christmas spirit.

I think Jimmi now fancies Zara

I'm going to be worrying about the Gobbyplods too :( wish it had been a nice Christmas ending! Stupid beeb people. Humphhh.

As for Jimmi goodness knows what came over him. At least he didn't ply her with Merlot and shag her over the office desk though.

Although that would have been entertaining and totally unbelievable.

Zara and Jimmi is just so unbelievable, they might just try it.

I've been so busy the last couple of weeks, but I've missed you all! My big news is that I've been offered a really good job and I'm so excited and happy about it!! Luckily it's under 30 hours so there's still plenty of time for Doctors :D
Anyway, am I to believe that this is the last episode until the New Year?! D: D: At least I've got a couple of weeks to deal with the trauma of seeing my boyfriend (Jimmi) in a big Doreen bra. Do Jimmi and Zara have any previous? I know about Daniel and whatsherface but Zara?

Oh god I just finished the episode and that was heartbreaking. I don't even like the Gobbys but this is awful :( I really thought they'd be back together for Christmas, in true Doctors "brain injury? Yeah she'll be right as rain in a week or so!" wtf fashion :(

Doctors is back on the 6th we think. I shall remain on thread and post random ramblings as usual throughout the break.

Haven't watched yet but am happy to join in with meaningless rambles over the next 3 weeks, and I will almost certainly be here to see the new year in if any one else is around.

Had a nice day today watching DD in her Christmas church service, singing in the choir (she is 4, the term "choir" is used loosely). She also got an award for working hard at school. I am unashamedly telling you all about this because I am v proud and I can't really talk to anyone else about it as it would be considered boasting. Yes it is, but I am anyway. She is my POB (Perfect Only Born) so I can't help it. Did I mention she can swim lengths without any floats etc now? I am ridiculously proud of her at the moment. Sorry, I'll shut up now.

Well done on the job Leezl and well done to your DD Anne. I had a proud PFB moment this week too. DS came out of school the other day clutching a piece of paper and looking sheepish. I asked what it was and he explained that they'd had to write a story and everyone on his table except him (he's in the bottom group for English) had needed a lot of help and when he'd finished his story the teacher read it and said it was the best one in the entire class, so she had given him a copy to bring home. She had written glowing comments on it which brought a tear to my eye and given him a double reward point thing (this has never happened to either of my DCs so far in their joint 8 years at school). DS is 9 and has AS plus coordination problems, because he is neither gifted nor disruptive he is rarely singled out for any special attention, so this meant a great deal.

I don't think there will be any problems with keeping the thread going, no, not at all.
