Jack Bauer appreciation thread

I realise i may be alone here but finished season 3 of 24 this weekend and oh, i just adore Jack Bauer! He's not a beefcake or your traditional hard nut but he is just amazing...

And the bit at the end when he just let himself 'feel' after the day from hell.. i just wanted to cuddle him.

No spoilers please as have only seen the first 3 seasons (although immediately ordered season 4 off ebay for the bargain price of £3,40 inc p&p!) but WHAT A MAN!!

Also jealous that you are watching for the first time Envy. I remember that. 1-3 were best but there are good moments in the other series. There's also a film between two of the series. Can't remember which ones though. Might be 6 and 7.

How about Mason???? I started loving him when he mimicked Tony at the beginning of season 1 and I cried like a baby when he died heroically in season 2.
Interestingly Mason and Nina are/were married in real life.
Tony and Michelle snogging in the corridor was rather Blush if I remember correctly.

I loved the first 3 seasons. After that it turned ridiculous but was still rather watchable.
Kiefer totally carried the ridiculousness.

I love Jack Bauer, season 5 was one of my faves. Tony Almeida was my secret crush though.....

I had heard it went a bit daft but right now i think my Jack Bauer love will see me through.
Watching season 3 made me realise just how high the death toll is - almost everyone who at one point is the main plot device ends up with a sticky end! All except Jack though - hooray (and his annoying daughter who i didn't mind in S1 but by the time she's working for CTU, kind of had enough!) Her and Jack have a nice dynamic though.

I know ole keifer has had real alcohol issues but for as i understand it, he is quite an endearing drunk (National Enquirer told me so must be true!). I always remember when they had to suspend 24 due to his jail term, everyone talked of him as a good guy with a problem rather than as an arsehole who used drink to be even more of an areshole!

S3 is with the deadly virus - but am now looking forward to Jack stopping nuclear armageddon with his mouth Grin (think i can spot where it starts getting a little far fetched!)

Must investigate ring-tones as Mr Potato from Peppa Pig is wearing a bit thin Smile

I visualized him when in labour with ds2 . I didn't need hospital until I was 10cm dilated . Thanks Jack. I miss him. Grin

He is so manly and masterful and yet vulnerable and sensitive at the same time. Having been a life long Kiefer fan, they couldn't have cast a better Jack Smile

It's the one with Audrey isn't it? I absolutely loathed her. Loved her ex though (the lovely James Frain). I don't get how such an annoying drippy woman could have bagged Jack AND James. Bitch.
