Jack Bauer appreciation thread

I realise i may be alone here but finished season 3 of 24 this weekend and oh, i just adore Jack Bauer! He's not a beefcake or your traditional hard nut but he is just amazing...

And the bit at the end when he just let himself 'feel' after the day from hell.. i just wanted to cuddle him.

No spoilers please as have only seen the first 3 seasons (although immediately ordered season 4 off ebay for the bargain price of £3,40 inc p&p!) but WHAT A MAN!!

Oooh - no, I hadn't! Slight spoiler in there for me but am so excited about jack coming to London that it kind of negates it all.

Am going to have to get a wiggle on to get fully up to date before it airs - although it doesn't say when that will be, unless I missed it?

I always liked the fact that he had an English degree (as stated on an internet 'fact file' done by Fox at some time or other)

I didn't know that.. and didn't realise Keifer himself was born in London so is technically English (although believe he is actually a Canadian citizen!)

Am rewatching Season 1 now as finding it tough to get rock bottom prices on ebay.

Jack looks so young and it's mad seeing him at home with Terri & Kim... You kind of forget he was once just a regular guy - well, he was still solid but had a decent personal life

and Wow! David Palmer obviously ploughed a shitload of cash into CTU as the set is very different in this season

we are heavily into season 8 now and are oddly enough really enjoying it more than the first time. LOVED david & wayne palmer. dd & i cheered when they both came back into it. am very excited that they are filming a new one in london although i would prefer it to be back in the US tbh. ps bootsales are the place to get really cheap 24 dvd's, i always spot them at bootsales

Ahhh, Jack - and Chloe and Audrey is back for this one as well plus her dad.... I am just upset its only 12 episodes long, I loved getting the box sets and knowing there were 24 episodes of tortured hero Jack for me to salivate over.... But Stephen Fry as Prime Minister is genius - Somebody get Cameron out now and Fry in for real.

Oh - I didn't know about Stephen Fry! I am even more excited now...

I completely forgot Dennis Hopper was in this season... shocking accent though
