BBC2, 8.30pm. Monica is back. Michel is back. Sadly, Greg is also back, but we can't have everything. This is my favourite Masterchef variant, so I am a happy bunny.

Funny how Monica always says how scary it is to cook for Michel. I bet most of them are more scared of her.

How many will over boil the bone marrow?

Yesterday it would have been at least two of them, but today's look more hopeful.

Although thinking about Michel getting a bit shouty in the kitchen makes me come over all peculiar.

It would be like the difference between upsetting mummy and daddy. Mummy shouts, but when daddy gets cross you know you're in real trouble.

I think it would take quite abit to make Michel shouty. He just comes across as really sweet.

So far they all seem a bit better than yesterday's. Apart from Lovely Luke.

Yuck at "bind marrow" anyone tried it?

Im joining this thread so I can read bits to dh who while normally a very impartial man, absolutely hates Greg with a passion. He calls him zippy and rages at every weird face he pulls.

He doesn't seem to get shouty, but he has sometimes gotten stern. It's kind of sexy.

This classic looks yum, apart from the bone marrow. Last year some of the 'classics' scraped the bottom of the barrel.

ledkr I totally agree with your DH. I had bone marrow as part of one of the tasting dishes at Le Gavroche and I didn't like it, so I'm taking a stand and saying that if Michel can't make it nice then it's Not Nice.

I'll have a Petrus and Michel sandwich please.

Gonna be a rush on duck breasts this weekend? Maybe not the marrow though.

I think it would be worse to disappoint Michel than to make Monica angry.
I like bone marrow but I eat pretty much eat any part of ash animal.

I love MVF. DH hates it as its glorifying gluttony. That's why he's a slender man. His willpower is sickening!!
