BBC2, 8.30pm. Monica is back. Michel is back. Sadly, Greg is also back, but we can't have everything. This is my favourite Masterchef variant, so I am a happy bunny.

Luke the spice master Grin

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 05/11/2013 20:55

I like anchovies, but not with roast lamb and mint. The bitter burnt feta was another disaster.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 05/11/2013 20:56

Feta cheese - wow indeed, Monica.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 05/11/2013 20:57

Oh gosh I think the girl is going to go. Even up against feta boy.

BillStickersIsInnocent · 05/11/2013 20:57

Monica's face!

BillStickersIsInnocent · 05/11/2013 20:58

It's not hard to judge love, you were pants

colleysmill · 05/11/2013 20:58

Monica has the best expressions ever!

Poor Lindsey but right choice

fishybits · 05/11/2013 20:58

Matt was bloody lucky!

jezzasjockstrap · 05/11/2013 21:00

8 o'clock tomorrow everyone?

colleysmill · 05/11/2013 21:02

See you tomorrow!

Ellenora5 · 05/11/2013 21:33

Hi all, can I join in please, I missed it last night.

I was all snuggled up with my hot water bottle and ready at 7.55 this evening, had a feeling Lindasy would go, she really wasn't very good, and I thought it was a mistake her never having cooked the dish before. Luke was very good I thought and seems really passionate about it. His dish looked great.

I had to abandon my snuggly evening when it was over and get out of bed and make a ham roll and tea, I was starving after watching it, and I had a huge plate of shepherds pie at 6.00pm Blush, I can't keep that up I will be huge.

I'm always hungry after masterchef Australia aswell so I really need to stay away from the fridge after dinner.

LondonMother · 05/11/2013 22:08

I was 100% confident they would send both Lindsay and Matt home. Matt can surely go no further - he seems to lack some pretty basic skills. That plate of strawberry vomit last night was grim.

Looking forward to tomorrow!

Luke is very good
Looking forward to seeing the rather delicious Petrus again tomorrow.

TheWave · 06/11/2013 19:08

Just catching up with yesterday's on iPlayer so I can keep up tonight. Why would you cook some combo you've never cooked before in a competition? I'm looking at you Lindsay. Well she's pretty young I suppose and hopefully will learn from this.

Ready for today's now.

NotAnotherPackedLunch · 06/11/2013 20:06

Anyone else looking forward to Greg struggling to eat the badly cooked abalone?

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 06/11/2013 20:08

Oh yes. Can't wait until he has to put that in his mouth!

MyNameIsWinkly · 06/11/2013 20:08

So very much! Though he barely even ate any of Monicas.

NotAnotherPackedLunch · 06/11/2013 20:09

Looked like Monica was worried there would be a finger in there too.

Gracelo · 06/11/2013 20:10

I've had paua fritters in New Zealand, not keen on it but would love to try Monica's version

imustbepatient · 06/11/2013 20:11

I can attest to their rubbery-ness if cooked badly. This should be fun Grin

TheWave · 06/11/2013 20:13

They don't like messy working do they.

TheWave · 06/11/2013 20:16

Go Petrus.

imustbepatient · 06/11/2013 20:18

Weird that you can have someone as skilled and doing well in the chef world already, like Petrus, in the same competition / round as Lindsay last night who just seemed so inexperienced.

MyNameIsWinkly · 06/11/2013 20:18

They wouldn't like my kitchen if they don't like mess.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 06/11/2013 20:19

I think there's already a couple of stars.
