BBC2, 8.30pm. Monica is back. Michel is back. Sadly, Greg is also back, but we can't have everything. This is my favourite Masterchef variant, so I am a happy bunny.

Whoot!

I'll bet you are Crem. Xmas Wink

SconeForAStroll · 04/12/2013 20:59

Think David was hampered by his seeming self confidence.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 04/12/2013 20:59

OMG SAT BAINS!!!!!!

SconeForAStroll · 04/12/2013 21:00

Ooh tomorrow! To me Scott was the more impressive in the earlier rounds which inevitably means he will self destruct...

Cremolafoam · 04/12/2013 21:01

Looking forward to Scott.
But no more roulades please. Does meat have to come loo roll shaped now?

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 04/12/2013 21:04

I adore Sat Bains. Him and Tom Kitchin. Tom I want to put in my pocket. I won't say what I want to do to Sat...

herbaceous · 04/12/2013 21:14

Yes crem, all meat must be rolled, all fruit turned into a jelly, and anything else cooked 'confit'.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 04/12/2013 21:17

Or in a water bath. Cook everything in a water bath.

Cremolafoam · 04/12/2013 21:17

Somebody get tee a glass of melted snow
Waves at HerbsGrin

Cremolafoam · 04/12/2013 21:19

Ketchup is The New Schmeer.
Cockle Ketchup
Broccoli Ketchup
Snail antennae Ketchup

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 04/12/2013 21:20

I was trying to explain the ketchup thing to my American Step Mother today over Skype. She pretty much looked like this: Confused

HRHwheezing · 04/12/2013 21:53

And flowers. You must have flowers.

TheSparklyPussycat · 05/12/2013 00:05

Did anyone else think that for tonight's pair, working in the Professional kitchen just rattled them and made them all flustered about timings? I felt quite sorry for them.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 05/12/2013 07:01

Oh definitely. This is why Jux's version would be better. Send them to cook, let them chill a bit, then bring them all back for a cook off.

More like GBBO, really.

Cremolafoam · 05/12/2013 20:05

Sat Bains alertGrin

Cremolafoam · 05/12/2013 20:19

He very firm but fairGrin
Luke has such a baby face.
This food, I could eat. Except perhaps the lichen. Why are we suddenly eating tree mould?

SconeForAStroll · 05/12/2013 20:24

Such a different experience to the place where they were serving 170 covers a shift.

MyNameIsWinkly · 05/12/2013 20:24

I'm not eating tree mould. Bleuch!

Scott and Luke don't seem to have anywhere near as much work to do as Adam and Stephen (?) in Dinner on Monday.

SconeForAStroll · 05/12/2013 20:26

Sat Bains seems like an affable fellow.

Ketchup!

Cremolafoam · 05/12/2013 20:26

Yep that was an easy shift compared with scary Michael Crawford bloke yesterday .
Scott the scot is going great guns.

Cremolafoam · 05/12/2013 20:27

Sous -vide scone!! Sous-vide

MyNameIsWinkly · 05/12/2013 20:30

Ketchup, and things served in ways. Girolles 2 ways, venison 3 ways, cherries 25 ways...

Cremolafoam · 05/12/2013 20:32

Not forgetting Chefs finger salad
Nom

SconeForAStroll · 05/12/2013 20:36

Setting us up for another 2 through?

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 05/12/2013 20:42

Did not expect Luke to fall apart like that to be honest.
