How did the older sister die? I can't watch it again I'm still drained from shouting at the telly last night. The last we saw of her she shot the Governor didn't she? Or have I wiped something horrible from my brain?

The younger sister wandered off after the first grenade and then her girlfriend was one of the ones killed by the kids - is that right?

I don't remember seeing the older sister die, but there were an awfy lot of walkers around when she was busy killing the governor.

Yes, the girlfriend got a bullet between the eyes.

but finally series cravings did work for me - seems a bit temperamental and i managed to watch Ep 8 this afternoon.

It was good! Loved how once the Guv's surrogate daughter copped it he turned into the terminator again, having tried to make a new family for himself and perhaps others. I enjoyed the "arc" of his character, found him annoying at first but ended up fancying him like mad really buying into his story.

oh, and no way is Judith dead!

Carl (Coral)?? - his acting was great!

alicia WRT why the Governor didn't kill Michonne instead of Hershel other than that Hershel had spent all this series being wise and preachy and Michonne hasn't been given a full backstory yet I think the Guv is purely just a sadistic bastard and knew which of the two would hurt the prison lot the most. And his daughters were watching. For all he knows no-one cares about Michonne.

I am more traumatised by Hershel being beheaded than I am about the baby because I think she's perfectly fine.

We didn't see anything of the younger sister after she got freaked out, did we? She'll be back next series then hopefully, i doubt the two sisters stories are quite finished.

I watched this episode at lunchtime yesterday and I'm still thinking about it. I think it's affected me.

Weren't there 4 children when that girl said they should fight? 2 carrying Judith and another couple milling about? I think there were only 2 of them them when they shot the two from the other camp. Maybe the others were with Judith??

Yes there were definitely four children with Judith at first. I think Judith's with the other two. It makes sense for whoever had Judith at the end to ditch the bulky car seat and carry her so they could get away faster.

In another forum twopsomeone much more observant than me has posted a link to a clip of what looks like Tyreese running outside the prison carrying 'something' (probably Judith) between the scene with Daryl and the tank and the Grimses and the car seat - so after the kids rescued Tyreese from Woodbury mk2

Which is interesting, but blows my Michonne has her theory out of the water

I think Michonne & Daryl is a possibility.
When the Guv was outside with the tank, holding the hostages Michonne and Hershel, the camera went to Hershal's daughters to show their reaction to seeing Hershal kneeling there, and then it showed Daryl's reaction first to Michonne being there. Why would it do that???

perhaps it would be interesting character development for Daryl, having come such a long way from the influence of now dead white supremesist (sp)? older brother?

I read an interesting comment on Alan Seipenwall that suggested Carol didn't kill the couple with the flu (Karen and David) but that her 'adopted daughter' Lizzie did and that Carol confessed to the crime to Rick to protect Lizzie. This would mean Lizzie was also probably the person who nailed the rat to the board that Tyreese was showing Rick and Darryl when the Governor attacked.

I like this theory because it lets Carol back in (I am a Carol/Darryl supporter) and it does fit in with the low hand print/her sister saying she was 'messed up' etc

I have to admit getting something in my eye when they found the empty car seat, the whole episode was jarring and showcasing some harsh realities (poor little girl bitten by the mud zombie, Carl dropping zombies like a pro, Carol's protege stepping up) was brilliant though.

Michonne's still my fave gal. Poor Herschal...

Bet the Govenor will be back though. That bastard just won't die!

Just watched mid season finale and had a big old sob!

My DD looks like Judith and is the same(ish) age, it broke my heart.

Please let the scriptwriters NOT be this cruel! And like posters up thread have mentioned - someone carried her onto the bus.

It was a fantastic but heart breaking episode.
