I'm still stupidly excited about the 'new' Troughton episodes, but just to add to the fun, Watch are showing some seriously classic episodes today from 2pm. Any else watching? And what are you looking forward to as we approach the anniversary episode and beyond?

TheSontaranPussycat · 23/11/2013 18:00

Sky + has captured S-J adventures I wanted to see, am now strangely calm and waiting.

guineapiglet · 23/11/2013 18:08
Tardis

All very excited tonight and really hoping Mr Ecclestone will be in it, he is my favourite Doctor, - but I think tonight is going to be great anyway ... As a rather old DW fan, I am still a bit Jon Pertwee -ified - but think all the recent series have been really fab - just been listening to Sue McG on Radio 4 talking about it all. I still have my long scarf and now wish I had a fez, too Envy.

Hope everyone enjoys tonight, there will be plenty of Wine and Tardis in this house tonight!!

Enjoy!!

Pizza ordered for 6:45. They'd better not be late!

'My' Doctor was Sylvester McCoy, but it was Christopher Eccleston who hooked me on the show. DS lost interest after Tennant left, but I still look forward to every episode!

LetZygonsbeZygons · 23/11/2013 18:12

QuietNinjaTardis · 23/11/2013 18:31

So excited! Tardis Tardis with all the clips and trailers and things I just can't see how they're going to fit it all in to an hour and 15 minutes. It better be good after all the hype. Tardis Tardis will be back later when ds is in bed.

HarrietJonesPrimeMinister · 23/11/2013 18:33

Is the red button one the Peter Davidson thing he was talking about on Graham Norton? Can't click atm as everyone watching Strictly

Rufus44 · 23/11/2013 18:38

We have just finished our party food (awaiting Dalek cupcakes) and are watching old episodes. Very excited! Bit worried about my husband as he has just found an old bow tie and a sonic screwdriver and is printing pictures off the computer to decorate the living room.

My dad and his wife are even more worried, I think they are regretting coming down for their monthly visit!

LetZygonsbeZygons · 23/11/2013 18:38

sorry, me again, just before I go.

Dr Who and the daleks was on this morn, the film with Peter Cushing. why haven't they foccussed on that one more? it was a separate thing from the series but still!!!!

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 23/11/2013 18:41

Watching The Five Doctors :)

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 23/11/2013 18:42

I think they are a bit embarrassed by it Zygons Grin

fancyanotherfez · 23/11/2013 18:42

X factor going head to head- think they will be exterminated!

fliedpiecatcher · 23/11/2013 18:45

I am going to give it a go because I'm a Who fan of long-standing. But ever since River Song came along I've started to lose the plot, literally.

If this special is going to necessitate fathoming whether River Song is now her own Mother and Uncle as well as Dr.Who's Father and Rose's child and Grandfather, I will have to call it a day. I love the Weeping Angel type of story which I can cope with and reminds me more of the old days before it needed a degree in Quantum and/or Particle Physics.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 23/11/2013 18:45

Ooh, we're all getting sooo excited here especially me
And there's a new tardis emoticon and everything Tardis
Supper on the hob and Wine open Smile

ShinyBauble · 23/11/2013 18:53

Stupid Domino's is 8 minutes late late! They'd better be here before 7 if they want a tip!

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 23/11/2013 18:58

52 minutes to go.

ShinyBauble · 23/11/2013 19:03

What? It's not on at 7??

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 23/11/2013 19:04

7:50 Grin

ShinyBauble · 23/11/2013 19:07

For crying out loud... Blush

OhYouBadBadKaleds · 23/11/2013 19:11

Lol!! Is your pizza here yet??

Davros · 23/11/2013 19:12

I thought that too Zygons. Peter Cushing was a crap Dictir but I loved the Dalek action. I clearly remember as a child, that scene when they scooped out the Dalek innards and then a horrific claw reached out after they left. I was scared by that! [dalek]

Davros · 23/11/2013 19:15

Tardis what happened to my emoticon?! I am in the cinema right now, waiting for DH and DD to return with drinks and choc. Oops, just realised it is a Tardis emoticon, we should have a Dalek one too

LetZygonsbeZygons · 23/11/2013 19:16

still here!
davros me too at that bit !!!!!

I liked the little girl Susan and Julian Clarys vision of Heaven (the Thalls or whatever theyre called Grin)
and that it was the same as the series story.

love peter Cushing but he was a bit rubbish and doddery wasn't he? and Roy Castle as a clumsy Ian.the 2nd one with Bernard Cribs was better, Tardis
