Just seen a trailer for The Walking Dead S4!! I actually squeed out loud. I never squee IRL. DP give me this look Hmm

So, Daryl fans, he'll be back on our screens in all his badass glory on 18th October on Fox.

those of us who can't wait will no doubt have already hypothetically worked out where we can hypothetically view it online after it has aired in the US Grin

Was it clear that it was Carol in hindsight? I know Rick found a bloody handprint on the door. Did he realise it was hers?

I've still got the previous episode. I'll check if no one knows.

And also why would she kill those two - can't remember their names - and then be so kind to the others? Perhaps she felt bad.

Someone mentioned on the other thread the possibility that she is covering for someone else.
The teenage girl was the potential suspect but I am not sure how she would be strong enough to drag two bodies and then set them on fire.
She is now sick though which would suggest exposure...

On a different note I have decided that Herschel is in fact Father Christmas,

There is the possibility that Lizzie (or someone else) killed them but Carol burned the bodies to cover it up.

I thought at first that she must be covering, but am slowly coming around to the idea that she did it. I think she did it but realized it didn't stop the spreading, so it now being kind and helpful.

I really hope Rick doesn't tell anyone but tbh if he does...Rick offered to kill the prisoners last season before they were known to be good or bad, Rick as much as killed the hitchhiker by not picking him up, EVERYONE voted to kill Randall (teenage boy at the farm) and Rick was prepared to carry the sentence out, Daryl tried to pickax Jim in the head when he was bitten in season 1, Daryl forgave Andrea immediately for shooting him because she was "trying to protect the group", Daryl supported the isolation and possible death of the prisoners because they couldn't take the chance, Daryl fought for Merle's inclusion in the group even though he attempted to kill Glenn, and both Rick AND Daryl were prepared to hand Michonne over to the governor to be tortured to death, which Michonne herself understood.

Yes, I have spent an embarrassingly large amount of time thinking about this since Sunday. Blush My point, though, is that they have all done things from time to time that they felt they needed to for the greater good and if Rick and Daryl, at least, don't stand behind her I will be QUITE irritated.

Plus, thinking about how horribly Patrick died, according to the doctor, I wonder if she didn't put them out of their misery a bit.

I hope Tyreese isn't going to become an irritating character like Lori and Andrea. Firstly when Rick apologised to him and he said It was on both of us - er no you started it. And moaning about Rick having to find out whodunit when they're in the middle of a crisis with no water. And why did he wait for so long before getting out of the car, putting everyone else at risk.

It would be like Carol to cover up. But it would also be like her to do something to try to stop it spreading.

At this point I just need to see SOMETHING between Carol and Daryl. That's all I need. I want her to be with Daryl slightly more than I want MYSELF to be with Daryl and that is saying something!

I'm meeting Norman Reedus this spring and I know I am going to blush and stammer and just basically be a massive tool. Blush

Herschel youngest daughter who's looking after Judith was talking a bit oddly last night. I'm wondering if she had anything to do with helping Carole kill the other two.

I'm sorry, but can we just go back to the bit where CheerfulYank says she is meeting Norman Reedus in the Spring???? How? Why? In what context? Do you have a fast car? Are you going to try and bundle him into the back and speed off into the sunset???

I do think it was Carol. When her and Rick were watching Tyreese at the grave and she said you should talk to him, she got out of going with him. I actually chuckled because I thought she was being clever by getting Rick to go on his own and make up with him (sorry couldn't think of a better way of putting it!) but now I think she just couldn't face him. Then when she got such a fright when he came to talk to her. It was when Tyreese said to her you care, that's when I thought it was her. Because I think that is why she did it, at the time they were the only ones with symptoms and she would do anything to protect the group especially the girls. And now she is being eaten up with guilt because she did something so horrible and it didn't stop the infection after all Sad

Grin at Herschal being Father Christmas. I thought he was really good last night although why neither he nor Carl finished off those two walkers in the woods I just don't understand. Am I right in thinking they were the ones Rick didn't finish off too?

And the group in the car. I think Tyreese was deciding whether to bother getting out. I thought at first he was going to sacrifice himself to give the others time to get away. I know he caught up with them but he was covered in blood so I'm guessing he has been bitten anyway and they might have to finish him off.

And I'm sure they said the college was over 50 miles away from the prison. So the group are going to have to try and make their way back with no transport. That's a hell of a walk.

Did anyone see the trailer for next week with Rick and Carol? Possibly trying to redeem herself.

Yep 50 miles is a hell of a way on foot. Unless they had actually travelled quite far in the car already.

In the trailer for next week it looked like they were inside the college looking for the medicines. Also this week when you saw the horde of walkers there was a large building in the distance which I presumed was the college they were aiming for. So I'm guessing they have only just got there and will still have to make their way back once they find the meds. Although they could find another car hopefully to take them back

I think it was them. Looking back now I think she was getting the knife out of the bag. Her husband looked like he was pinned by the tree so she was probably bringing
