Just seen a trailer for The Walking Dead S4!! I actually squeed out loud. I never squee IRL. DP give me this look Hmm

So, Daryl fans, he'll be back on our screens in all his badass glory on 18th October on Fox.

those of us who can't wait will no doubt have already hypothetically worked out where we can hypothetically view it online after it has aired in the US Grin

Yes go on as long as its only a guess Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/10/2013 07:38

Agree M must be a mummy and child died :(

WD was on again about 2/3am so recorded and will study a hand later

Rick may have burnt the bodies as when he stripped off his shirt and changed his body looked sooty/black - possibly from smoke/burning flesh

alwaysonmymind · 26/10/2013 08:14

Blondes - didn't notice he had soot on his body (and what a body!) . I thought he took off his shirt cos it was soaked in pig blood and he thought they might be sick. Might have to go back and watch that bit again - just to see if there is any soot of course ( not to perv!)

alwaysonmymind · 26/10/2013 08:17

Forgot to say - I think M did have a baby Sad. It looks like she is becoming more emotionally involved with the group now

Monroe · 26/10/2013 09:29

I also think it's the little girl feeding the walkers.

I think whoever burned the bodies was trying to protect them all but they must have also killed them? There was a very clear fresh blood trail that looked like they had been stabbed then dragged outside. I'm guessing from watching too many csi that if the bodies were already dead there would have been much less blood. Also if they had already turned would you not just go and tell someone? And not be carrying a canister full of petrol just in case.

I don't think it was Rick. From his chat with daryl he hasbeen avoiding making any decisions or doing anything other than tending his little farm. But of course I could be wrong. I often am Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/10/2013 10:47

always first I thought it was hair. A very hairy back Shock but think its dirt or soot

Monroe · 26/10/2013 10:50

I didn't notice his back. I'll have to watch again too. In the interests of being thorough of course. No other reason, oh no

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/10/2013 10:52

Can't see who the hand belong to tho torch seems held high so prob an adult and can't be guv as from the inside

I wondered who burnt the bodies. They didnt make a good job of it! And was no-one watching the sick people? Nursing them? Were they locked in in case they died and turned?
And does Rick just sahve to stubble all the time? Grin

VoodooHexDoll · 26/10/2013 12:18

May be it was the little girl that burnt the sick people but could a child drag the body outside?

Could maggie or glenn be feeding the walkers as they were sleeping in the guard tower so keeping watch and had access? More likly Glenn, but why?

Monroe · 26/10/2013 12:30

Viva yes it is very gory and can be very intense and their is often a jump out of your seat moment but there is also a lot of quieter calmer times when you really get to know the characters and begin to care about them. I watched much of the first season through my fingers. Definitely give it a go, it really is great.

DH is out later so I'll probably watch ep 2 again tonight just for the heck of it. Rick has certainly beefed up since season one. I think there was a bit where he stripped off in a tent with Lori and he was a bit of a skinny minny then. Hefting about all those dead walker bodies has added a fair bit of meat to his bones.

Has anyone seen the extended trailer for this season linked to at the beginning of the thread? Can we talk about it? It might be a bit spoilery but there was a couple of things in it that were interesting. Sorry to keep banging on on this thread but no one I know in RL watches it Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/10/2013 14:33

i think it was gorier in the beginning but still enjoy

but the prisons boring now, they need to move on

didnt we see a clip with them in the car and heard someone on the radio?

Monroe · 27/10/2013 15:15

Yes, that was on the extended trailer. You see daryl and tyreese and a couple of others in the car I think. The voice says something like those who arrive, survive. You also see the car being over run by walkers but not sure if that is at a different time

They definitely need to move out of the prison, if only because Glenn's main role was scout/runner and he's got nothing to do now. Also because of the infection, of course.

I've seen the extended trailer and some advertising posters which seem to suggest they might be doing that at some point.

VoodooHexDoll · 27/10/2013 19:06

I hope the baby makes it as I dont think I could stand her not making it Sad Blush

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/10/2013 19:31

the baby is the only way i can keep track of time scale

ie she got preg at beginning, ff 9mths, gave birth, died and now bubs is i say about 6/7mths so about 15mths since the first zombie attack

does that sound right Grin

limitedperiodonly · 27/10/2013 23:19

I've only just watched it.

I think the worms had something to do with it. Rick was turning over loads of them in the soil. Maybe they'd been recycling walker bits and the pigs had been eating it.

Don't know who was feeding rats to the walkers. Why were there so many rats anyway? You would just exterminate them. They'd be as much of a health hazard as the walkers.

Have been thinking for ages that the walkers would squash the fence down. It doesn't look very robust.

Who knows who killed the people at the end. Rick did look a bit sooty though Wink

But whoever did it - why just leave them there to rot? They don't have a very good method for dealing with any of the bodies - impaling the walkers by the fence (though they seem not to pile up), and burying their own dead within the compound, is daft.

You have to take them a way away and burn them, otherwise you'd die of disease before zombification.

isshoes · 28/10/2013 22:51

Having done extensive research, I am certain this is not the last series...phew....

Also, def don't think rick murdered/burned the two sick people. Not a rick thing to do. Neither did Maggie or Glenn feed rats to the walkers. Don't know who did either of those things though!

CheerfulYank · 29/10/2013 00:08

Marking my place til you all catch up with me in the US.

I am so so upset. :(

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/10/2013 16:26

dare i ask why upset, or will that give away plots

CheerfulYank · 29/10/2013 16:57

It'll give some things away. :(

MrsBertMacklin · 29/10/2013 22:39

CheerfulYank, there is a US-pace thread for WD4 here
