Just seen a trailer for The Walking Dead S4!! I actually squeed out loud. I never squee IRL. DP give me this look Hmm

So, Daryl fans, he'll be back on our screens in all his badass glory on 18th October on Fox.

those of us who can't wait will no doubt have already hypothetically worked out where we can hypothetically view it online after it has aired in the US Grin

Well, there's plenty more material in the comics, so it could go on for years yet.
They've also confirmed they're going to make a spinoff series.

Why do I watch this programme? I feel like I can't breathe for the whole episode.

I'm going on holiday tomorrow so I won't be able to catch up for nearly 3 weeks! I must learn to plan my holidays not to coincide with TWD in future Grin

And I think Rick not putting a bucket in forest woman's head is supposed to show his journey back to recovering his humanity. She wanted to be with her husband so he left her to have her wish fulfilled. The Rick of last season wouldn't have thought twice about stabbing them both in the eye.

GeeinItLaldy did you mean bullet? I was racking my brains trying to remember where the bucket was in that scene Grin I agree I also seem to hold my breath. It's only when the adverts come on I realise I'm leaning forward all clenched.

I was thinking about the whole community thing. They have obviously been bringing back everyone they find out on the road. I wonder if they feel any guilt about the hitch hiker they drove past and left. At the time they were very wary over who to trust but they seem to have opened up a lot more.

Any one else watching tonight?

Did anyone else's sky totally fuck up at the beginning or was it just ours????? Angry started playing when they were fighting walkers inside, then a sodding advert!!! What happened?!??

Some bugger is sabotaging them. Feeding the rats through the fence and burning the bodies. My first thought was either the doctor from the beginning or the alcoholic medic. I could almost understand the burning of the bodies - to protect the others maybe? But I have no idea why anyone would be trying to attract the walkers to the fence.

Loved it again, can't wait for next week

I think they sacrificed the pigs as they thought they were the carriers of the disease? So they knew they would have to kill them anyway.

Carl is most definitely growing on me. He seems much more mature this series, respecting Rick with the no gun rule and telling him about carol.

And daryls little face when carol asked if he was feeling okay

Can I ask on here......how scary is this programme?

I like zombie books, love post apocalyptic fiction. But am no good with scary films. Can't watch Scream, etc. am not very good with been on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

I've seen a ten second clip of the first episode. There were fingers clawing at him through a gap in a door and then he ran down a stair well. Clip ended but I'm guessing there were more zombies about. If its like that all the time I'm not sure I could watch it. But I'm tempted by the box set. Grin

I could handle small bits like that if it was calmer inbetween?

Viva, the programme is very scary/gory/has lots of imagery that stays with you but if you watch enough of it you eventually become desensitised like the rest of us.
That said I'm on here reading about it as too scared to watch on my own as DH has gone to bed. :)

My take on it

The little girl was feeding the walkers and naming them as pets. She got upset that one died. Her sister said she was messed up so maube more to it?

I think M started to cry as she must have lost her child to the walkers?Just a guess!

I think Rick burned the bodies to protect everyone else from getting sick and turning and he will start putting more rules in place to keep everyone safe.
