I thought it was Jimmy Corkhill at first too but the actor is much thinner than that.

Just looked at the credits and he is called Connor McIntyre. According to IMDB Jimmy Corkhill was someone called Dean Sullivan, so it isn't the same guy.

They look and sound a lot alike.

Im not sure how old the actress is but i know that julie has to be 14 years younger than eileen because eileens best childhood friend is her mum and was 14 when she had her.

The actress was born in 1973 so that makes her 40 so not far off her character's age. I think she looks older because of the way she dresses.

She is 39 in rl tbf though I think it's her hairstyle and clothes that age her. She's got quite a nice face.

Julie can't have children, she thought she was pregnant once and Brian finished with her because he had a vasectomy so said the baby couldn't be his, but she wasn't pregnant she had a tumour and had to have a hysterectomy, it was very sad actually and she played the part very well. The actress is not long back from maternity leave, she had her third child this year.
