Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

OP posts:

That made my eyes prickle, poor Hayley

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/09/2013 21:25

Why is Carla even listening to Michelle's whining? Why would she even care that she walked out of her job? This storyline must just be leading to Steve buying the pub again.

DameEdnasBridesmaid · 27/09/2013 21:42

Are you the scriptwriter Anne! Smile

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/09/2013 21:48

Haha! If I were there would be another massive accident on the Street and Tim, Rosie, Stella, Tina, Rita and Traceyluv would never be seen again!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 27/09/2013 21:48

Oh! Just saw Steve enquire about the price of the pub! I knew it!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/09/2013 22:09

Poor Hayley ! The Sally / kebabbyman storyline is like a Carry On Film.

eddiemairswife · 27/09/2013 23:12

How long is Tim going to be hiding? You'd think he would have stocked up with food beforehand.

Ellenora5 · 28/09/2013 14:40

The Tim and Sally storyline is just stupid, the sooner he is gone the better. Why does Steve need a mortgage, surely he has the money from when he sold the pub to Stella in the first place, and why on earth has Michelle no money, she has a perfectly good job and lives in a dumpy little flat and goes nowhere so she should be loaded.

I hope they don't bring Christian back into it, what was the point of him turning up just to insult Hayley, plus he's very creepy.

Lighthousekeeping · 28/09/2013 15:17

What happened to the woman Hayley was married to or was she never married?

shellbot · 28/09/2013 19:29

When Michelle and Carla were arguing in the pub I got the impression that they've been friends since childhood but how can they be as they were sister in laws.

Also why is all Michelle's family in Ireland when she doesn't have an Irish accent?

If I'm talking rubbish please be gently on me as I've already started on the
Wine

Mistyshore · 28/09/2013 21:47

Michelle's mum and dad moved over to Manchester from Ireland when they were children/before they were born and then moved back once the children had grown up. I think Michelle and Carla were very young when Carla got together with Michelle's brother and they all grew up in the same area.

Ellenora5 · 28/09/2013 21:52

Hayley wasn't married, I think it was a one night stand when she was Harold, but I'm not really sure on that.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 28/09/2013 22:38

Yes, Michelle and Carla grew up together, although Michelle's family seem quite genteel and Carla's mother was referrred to as earning her living by selling drugs out of her pushchair. Michelle's husband/partner/father of Ryan is dead (car crash?) and she has lost both her brothers in separate accidents, she is one unlucky person.

eddiemairswife · 28/09/2013 23:39

Michelle seems to have forgotten about her other 'real' son.

LordElpuss · 29/09/2013 06:12

When Carla said to Michelle in the pub "the girls will never forgive me ... you're the 'eart and soul of that factory"

Eh? Confused

whatkungfuthat · 29/09/2013 08:36

The whole thing with this Michelle storyline and Peter losing the bookies, St Ella leaving etc. is to set things up for Liz to come back, regrettably.

shellbot · 29/09/2013 11:45

Thanks Misty & WhoKnows. Will sleep easy tonight now I know Grin

FannyMcNally · 29/09/2013 13:01

I thought that LordElpuss! To me she's someone who sits in the office or in the Rovers or is in the flat looking concerned at Ryan. Neither the heart nor soul of any place!

insummeritrains · 29/09/2013 13:46

Seems wrong to say it now with Hayley so ill but do you think they will ever put Roy with someone else? There have been a few scenes recently that have convinced me that they're setting the scene for him and Mary getting together.
We already know they have a lot in common and she has a crush on him!

BadgersNadgers · 29/09/2013 22:46

The nips were mammoth. I love that Steve wants the pub.

Clawdy · 30/09/2013 19:45

They keep showing Audrey's Perming Diploma certificate framed on the wall of the salon! Surely there's no such thing as a Perming Diploma? any hairdressers know?

Mistyshore · 30/09/2013 19:53

David asked Gail to put the ironing board away for him. It lives against the living room wall about a foot from where he was standing! It annoys me every scene they shoot in that bloody room! Angry. They don't even put it away when they have a party!

I realise I've invested a bit too much thought into Gail's housekeeping skills Grin

PaintedBottom · 01/10/2013 19:29

Oh look what I've just found! I love this! Hayley's diary Grin

Ellenora5 · 02/10/2013 00:04

Oh PaintedBottom, that's lovely, I don't mind admitting I had a tear in my eye...thanks for the link Smile

LordElpuss · 02/10/2013 00:28

Hate the diary (sorry)
