Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

It's a bit weird that they refer to Deirdre as 'living alone' as in it not being a temporary thing. She hasn't said that she should ask Ken about Rob moving in. And then making eyes at the trainer! It's obvious Ken's never coming back I just wish they'd come right out and script his departure.

Bloody Peter. Hate him and really want Carla to go to town on him. Well done Liz! She's my fave at the moment.

Peter is behaving terribly - but so did Carla when she did everything she could to steal him from Leanne. No sympathy for her!

aj you've hit the nail on the head for me- I don't care about Carla. Peter and Tina are being awful but still can't muster any sympathy for Carla after what she did to leanne

Can I butt in please? There have been so many WTF? moments lately such as everyone forgetting that David owns half the house but Nick and Kylie trying to run him out of town (now resolved-ish), Leanne vowing to 'stand by her man' but not even attempting to put a bit of slap on the shiner, Peter and Tina shagging twice when Carla could have literally been seconds away, Tracey, Rob and the pretend burglary, and on it goes. I can't see any reason for the homeless girl other than as a new love interest for Sophie.

I don't have any sympathy for Carla either.

I do wish they would just fuck off with the homeless girl story. In fact, I wish Sophie and the homeless girl would both fuck off, in the next episode.

I wish they'd take Sally with them as well, she just gets more and more annoying.

Agree about no sympathy for Carla. She threw herself at him when he was married to Leanne.

Also, on Monday, where was Simon? Peter said he was with Leanne, but Leanne was at work and staying with Stella. Are Stella and co still living in Kevin's house? I like them all better since they started work in the Bistro for some reason, but it doesn't seem very likely they would all stay and work there.

I am sure that voice is put on, she is from Leicester iirc and I don't remember her being so nasally when I have seen her interviewed in RL

Liz's tough woman act was hilarious. I'm glad she stood up for Tina but I couldn't take her at all seriously when she threatened Peter, I'm amazed he kept a straight face!

I also find it far fetched that they could have all these discussions about Rob moving in with Deirdre, with no mention of 'what would Ken think' . And how unlikely is it that someone like Rob would give up the lease on his flat to move in there - let alone even before it was agreed! And - yet again, where was Amy when all this was going on.....I assume she lives there at least some of the time?? When Blanche lived there, she had the front room, iirc - is that now Amy's room?

It's all completely silly at the moment.

My tiny niggle is that whenever Hayley cries about dying she is completely dry eyed! No tears at all. Surely you'd think they'd use glycerine or something. You're dying woman! Soon! Cry ffs! My dd who is 4 actually said mum why is that lady laughing when Hayley was 'sobbing'. In eastenders you get the full waterworks PLUS snot.

And as if you'd really go to the panto after finding out you're a goner. It's bad enough going when fully fit.

Can't believe that Dreary let Tracey and Rob move in after they had trashed her house -and broke a pot hope she is plotting her revenge.

I think Carla's voice is getting more grating -not looking forward to her finding out about Peter and Tina .

Rob has been firmly resisting letting Tracey move in with him, so it does seem strange that he would give up his bachelor pad and move in with her mum. Deirdre is acting as though Ken doesn't exist (which is probably true, but we aren't meant to know that). I was a bit that she caved and let them move in. Amy seems to have disappeared completely.

Perhaps Amy went to Canada with Deirdre, and was left behind!!!

Liz took Amy back to live with them in the Rovers after the Faye/ Simon incident but you still never see her.
