Starting a new thread as I used up the last two messages on the last one. Also this is my first thread I've ever started! A great subject to start with.

She was a bit mean earlier in the episode also so I didn't know was it just to do with him talking to Gloria. She was very cat's bum about that though.

Interesting to have a new character (more needed IMO) thought eva, Beth and Sinead(?) were quite funny in Sunday's episode.

I am also a bit [hmmm] at Rita's behaviour with Dennis. He seems like an easygoing kind of chap but Rita is coming over like a bad case of control freak/nanny with him.

Dennis should come and post on here and we'd all shout 'LTB!'

There is some storyline coming up with musicians from Dennis's past, will be interesting to see if it actually is real musicians from the 60's, after all Quo were on corrie weren't they!

yes I thought Rita was being really snidey and negative about Dennis and treating him like a child. Love 60's music so would enjoy a revival band storyline.

Yes, that was odd with Rita, after all she had a background in club singing herself. I imagine living with Dennis is a bit like living with a child though.

I didn't like seeing Hayley just hand over the money to Christian, I thought we would see her agonising over it, discussing it with Roy. On the whole I haven't been as annoyed with her lately as some of the rest of you though.

Fed up with the endless Platt/Macintyre/whatever family shenanigans.

Quite touching seeing Dev and the new chap sharing about losing their wives.

Does David not have any legal rights to see his kids, I find it strange that he is just letting them get away it, and as for Nick it's a pity David didn't finish him off, he is getting nastier by the day.

Not enjoying corrie these days. The Hayley story started wonderfully but is rubbish now with too many unnecessary angles (euthanasia and Christian). I don't like Anna and Owen and their family. I don't like Carla and Peter now they're together. Why does every corrie wedding have to have an illicit snog?

I feel sorry for David. Has everyone forgotten that kylie the little sanctimonious slapper shagged nick??! And nick deserved to be killed off. He's a terrible actor. Can't stand Leanne and poor Simon being palmed off all the time. He's not with Leanne any more, he's hardly at peters either. I do like Tim and Sally and love Steve the student. More of them please. And where's Norris and Emily these days? I know Emily is particularly swamped looking after hope, Joseph, Faye and every other kid but surely she gets to have an evening off?

I do not understand the David and the kids thing either.
He has never been violent to kylie or the kids.
Yes the car accident nearly killed Nick but he wasn't thinking "i'm going to kill Nick", he was panicking and trying to stop nick from driving back and telling kylie and grabbed the wheel, he could just as easily killed himself.
He has tried to pay child support , which for some total unknown reason she refuses.
On top of which he has to give up his job, move out and not have nay access to joint account.
Methinks he has rather had the shit end of the stick.
