Maybe they should start keeping all the married names and double/triple/quadruple barreling.

I can't think of any that have kept their own name. Anna even took Eddie's name though they weren't married.

Also agree that Hayley seems very well indeed considering. As did her friend a few weeks ago .

There was an actual storyline in Home and Away the other week about a character wanting to keep her name and he husband was miffed. That's how unusual it is in soapland!

Didn't realise Eddie and Anna weren't married. WHY would you take the name Windass voluntarily when you weren't even married?! And Faye is lamped with it now as well!

I wish it was still on on a Sunday, though, I miss the days (some 10 years ago!) of seeing the weekend off with a cup of tea, a bar of chocolate and Corrie (that was when it was sponsored by Cadbury - anyone remember that!?)

I remember that being my Sunday night routine when I first bought a flat and that was 2004/2005 ish! I can't remember when it changed, though!

Roy's post Hayley recovery has been signposted, with Mary and her chess set. We even had Hayley's little smile of approval as she watched. I really want Roy and Mary to get together. She will save him from his misery, and he will save her from hers (Norris).

As an aside, I can see why he's attracted to her. Only drinks orange juice, even mentioned the man from Del Monte ... Tangerine Tina is the next step.

Mary might be a good friend for Roy, but I don't think a romantic attachment would be a possibility.

I think Roy needs to be on his own after Hayley dies. Maybe he can have a v strong friendship with Mary but nothing more.

Its probably because Tina doesnt have a purpose now Tommy has gone. Not that they had starring roles before. In fact Im bored of Tina she looks the same every day, same hair same hideous earrings.

I want a nice ding-dong over something trivial between Liz, Gloria, Eileen and Gail. Maybe at the wedding. Although do we know if there is actually a wedding?

A lovely Corrie moment recently was when Peter offered to read "Danny, Champion of the World" to Simon. Sob. Just occasionally Corrie is still spot on.

I'm liking Liz - never did before, but she seems to have slotted back in pretty well. And I think there are some decent lines appearing amongst the crap!
