Well, when I say almost what I mean is the 29th September in the US, and I think we were a week behind last series so early October - roll on the Autumn.

. One of the comments says that at the end Brodie says in Arabic "I am a muslim lost in this world..help me come clean again".

I CANNOT wait. I've missed Carrie so much. And Saul. Anyone sad enough to join me in the anticipation?

In the States I think it's normal as I was told at that scan with my first (who was born in US) but with subsequent pregnancies in UK they told me it was impossible to know at that stage & so didn't tell me until the 20 week scan. ( I'm convinced they don't tell us the truth here as I also heard the heartbeat v early on in the US but again the midwife here refused to listen for it as she said it was too early for that also! ).

Does anyone know how many more we have left to go? I'm curious at to how they'll tie it all up into an interesting cliffhanger.

yesbutnobut · 01/12/2013 15:48

I think tonight's is week 9, so 4 to go including this one.

GypsyFloss · 01/12/2013 16:04

Lighthousekeeping · 01/12/2013 20:52

I don't know if my hearts in it anymore. I haven't seen last weeks yet and I'm tempted just to read the blog!

ihatethecold · 01/12/2013 21:01

Lighthouse, last weeks was the best one so far.

HazeltheMcWitch · 01/12/2013 21:08

Aargh I missed what Saul said to Carrie right before the break - something about someone responsible for somebody's death - anyone know?

MajesticWhine · 01/12/2013 21:51

An Imam and his wife were murdered because of Brodie...?

Astr0naut · 01/12/2013 21:51

excellent, a montage!

coffeeinbed · 01/12/2013 22:00

He wasn't to see Dana and no word about his son.

FunnyRunner · 01/12/2013 22:08

Really liked that episode. Good to give a shit again Wink

ihatethecold · 01/12/2013 22:08

This new plot is so far fetched.
Good job it's not real!

Hassled · 01/12/2013 22:16

I thought that was excellent.

Yes - why no mention of Silent Chris (if that is his name)? And why didn't Carrie tell him about the pregnancy?

I love Saul as much as ever, although I am now thinking of him as Ming the Merciless. He should have sold Lockhart down the river, though - sod the humiliated Mrs Saul.

OP posts:
ihatethecold · 01/12/2013 22:19

Who is silent chris?

lisbapalea · 01/12/2013 22:20

I think caring about humiliation of Mrs Saul shows that Saul is indeed a goodie.

Hassled · 01/12/2013 22:20

He may not be Chris. The younger brother of Dana who seldom speaks and doesn't really feature.

nomorecrumbs · 01/12/2013 22:22

I have two questions.

  1. Why does Brody not give a shit about his son, whereas everything is always about Dana?
  1. Why do Carrie and his wife call him Brody, instead of Nicholas?
Hassled · 01/12/2013 22:25

He doesn't give a shit about his son (who may or may not be Silent Chris) because his son never speaks. Or shows emotion. Or has opinions.

Someone somewhere called him Nicholas, I'm sure. Was that just Abu Nazir?

You made me laugh

TreaterAnita · 01/12/2013 22:38

I think it's always been set up that Brody has a much closer relationship with Dana than Chris, presumably because they remember each other from before he went to Iraq whereas Chris was just a baby and also because they both have quite 'troubled' personalities, whereas even his dad been America's most wanted doesn't seem to have bothered Chris in the slightest.

I thought tonight's episode was really enjoyable and it was great to have Damian Lewis back in the action. There's a constant threat hanging over his character that he's going to meet a sticky end at some point, and I guess it's hard to keep coming up with plots that involve him, but I think it would be a real shame if they killed him off.

Meanwhile, Carrie continues with her mission to do everything in pregnancy that you're not supposed to...
