Melika - prayers for you and your sister.

Sylvia can't leave - but my list for those that should is quite long......

Impomea · 02/08/2013 14:30

Melika- best wishes to your sister and your family

Think I heard Brian is leaving too

Feel very uncomfortable seeing Gary with the baby.

Clawdy · 02/08/2013 16:23

Think I read somewhere that the Gary story-line is him worrying that the baby has bonded with Izzy, but not him, and that he won't be a good dad, not a "Gary resents the baby" story-line.

melika · 02/08/2013 17:01

Thanks friends, after a 4 hr operation,Dsis is in critical care now, we are waiting to hear the details of how it went. She is very very poorly. But thank you all.

whatkungfuthat · 02/08/2013 17:20

Thinking of you melika Flowers

KenDoddsDadsDog · 02/08/2013 17:54

Thinking of you

AnneEyhtMeyer · 02/08/2013 18:17

I read that too, Clawdy. I think the problem is that Gary is a crap actor and can only do one expression, so it is difficult for him to portray anything but "angry".

Hope it isn't true that Sylvia is leaving. Roy will just be cast adrift.

Hope all goes well for your sister, Melika. Soaps tend to have a nasty habit of bringing up unwelcome subjects at exactly the wrong time, don't they? But I suppose there would be no script if they didn't. Doesn't make it any easier though.

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/08/2013 19:40

I like Sylvia, would be a shame to see her go.

deepfriedsage · 02/08/2013 20:45

Ohhh David.

Ellenora5 · 02/08/2013 20:51

Melika, thinking of your sister, a difficult time for you all...xx

Viviennemary · 02/08/2013 21:05

I don't really understand the Gary storyline. His behaviour is a bit strange. (Must not take this too seriously!) Please Tracey and Rob get caught with stolen goods and locked up for a long long time. They are just soooo boring.

Viviennemary · 02/08/2013 21:06

Didn't see your post melika. Hope all goes well for your sister.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 02/08/2013 21:07

Can't believe it took Nick so long to work out it must be David. He has always been a devious little bugger, so it is hardly earth-shattering that he is the culprit.

So if Karl and St Ella are going away next week does that mean Karl gets found out before then? I really hope so.

Read on Digital Spy that Sylvia is going so it must be true. Sad

FannyMcNally · 02/08/2013 21:55

Damn! Has Nick found out it's David? I had to miss the last ten minutes. I'll have to watch it on catch-up

whatkungfuthat · 02/08/2013 22:00

The penny dropped right at the end Fanny. He doesn't know but he suspects

AnneEyhtMeyer · 02/08/2013 22:11

He was just musing on the possibilities, looked up and saw Rat-Boy and said to himself "David".

FannyMcNally · 02/08/2013 22:12

I wonder if he is going to confront him? Or play more 'games'?

whatkungfuthat · 02/08/2013 22:26

Something is imminent [taps nose]

BringMeTea · 02/08/2013 23:08

Sending prayers and healing thoughts for your sister Melika.

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/08/2013 09:02

Does Nick even get a chance to confront David..? Wink

whatkungfuthat · 03/08/2013 09:39

I think IT is the confrontation Wink

ajandjjmum · 04/08/2013 08:26

Thank goodness! Perhaps they'll get Karl at the same time!

SlatternismyMiddlename · 04/08/2013 21:46

Sorry to gate crash thread - I've been on holiday and just getting up with Corrie. Unfortunately my sky plus didn't record some episodes. Most of it I have been able to work out but what did Eileen's bloke say to prompt the allegations of racism? And why did Emily just hand her house over?

AnneEyhtMeyer · 04/08/2013 22:13

TrouserSmell was talking and said "Play the white man". Jenna and Lloyd had just walked into the pub and overheard it. Paul refused to apologise.

I don't think Emily has handed over her house - I think she is saying she will but (I may be wrong) I don't think she actually has yet.

ajandjjmum · 04/08/2013 22:14

Paul said a phrase I had never heard, something like 'act the white man' implying that whoever he said it to should do the right thing. Lloyd took exception, Paul wouldn't apologise, and it escalated.

You know as much about Emily's decision making as those of us who watched it. After Norris had been whinging, she just said she was making the house over to him.
