I have never liked Sophie; even as a child she was dull. I do wish Eileen could be given a really good storyline. I remember when she first appeared. she was funny and bolshy with a good line of repartee.Now she seems to have lost all of her sparkle and has become a downtrodden victim of circumstances. It all seemed to start when Dennis[?] was killed in a motor -bike crash and things have never looked up since.

Over the summer David is going to ratchet up his campaign and cause lots of trouble between Carla and Peter and Leanne (where has Simon been lately - not with Leanne, Peter or Deirdre?) I reckon.

I also think that the producers have listened to joe public and perhaps Mand will go as she is rowing with Lloyd over the Paul/racist stuff (hooray!). I always though that Lloyd would get with Stella he's great behind the bar of the Rovers.
